After our ghost hunt at the abandoned house in Cabacalan, we began to notice that something was terribly wrong. At first, it was subtle...small, unsettling changes we tried to ignore. Strange shadows lingered where there should have been none, and unfamiliar whispers seemed to follow us long after we had left the place. Nung una, pinagtatawanan lang namin ang isa’t isa, convincing ourselves that everything we were experiencing was nothing more than hallucinations, products of exhaustion and overactive imaginations.
Then came the camping trip. Akala namin iyon ang sagot. A chance to reset, to laugh it off, to prove to ourselves na wala talagang kakaiba. Ngunit doon nagsimula ang lahat. One by one, the strange incidents escalated, no longer ignorable, no longer explainable.
It was only then, in the midst of terror and regret, that the truth struck me with devastating clarity. That time, I realized I was the one who led them there. I was the one who insisted, who ignored the warnings. And in doing so, I became the reason they walked straight into death.
