A few days after they first moved in Yoongi's family came over for lunch. To say that Kat was nervous was an understatement. Although she and Yoongi's parents had gotten along well at first, this would be the first time seeing them after the breakup. She wasn't sure of how they felt about their son getting back together with her, after she broke his heart.

She let out a shaky breath as she ran her hands through her hair, lost in thought.

"Hey, is everything okay? You look anxious? You do know this is just lunch with my parents, you've met them before, you'll be fine, love."

"I have met them, but it was totally different. It was back then, you know, before I got pregnant out of nowhere, before I lost our baby, before I broke up with you, before we both went on separate ways. They probably hate me right now; they probably hate that we're back together."

"I won't lie and say that my parents liked our breakup, they did not. They expected us to get married and have kids. But you're blaming yourself too much. They know it was nobody's fault that we lost our baby. And although they would love for us to have our little bundle of joy, they understand that these things unfortunately are out of our control. As for the breakup, they were devastated but understood that a relationship like we had was doomed to fail. They understood that the distance, the working hours, the industry we work on made it difficult to sustain a healthy, long-lasting relationship."

"So, you don't think they hate me?" She sniffled quietly.

"Not at all! They might be a little iffy at first, but that's just because they don't wanna see me hurt again. But I think once they realize how much you gave up on just to be with me right now, they'll come to their senses. But don't worry, they were happy for me once I told them we were back together, they're just nervous and scared we might shatter their hearts again by breaking up."

"Shatter their hearts? What do you mean?"

"Well, the news of our breakup hit them harder than I was expecting, they thought we made a great couple, and no matter how much they tried to hide it, I noticed they were heartbroken about it. They kept asking about you after we broke up."

"Really?"

"Yeah... It stung every time they did, but I could see where they were coming from. Now, let's wipe those tears away" he said as he gently brushed his thumbs over her cheeks, drying her tears away. "And get this lunch ready. You have nothing to worry about! You were my only girlfriend they ever approved of anyway!" He said smirking.

"Thank you, I really needed to hear that."

"Anything for you, jagyia!"

A few short minutes after their talk, Yoongi's parents arrived. They both looked at the house in awe, as they left their car.

"Wow son! The new place is beautiful!! Bet this must've cost you a fortune!"

"It wasn't cheap, but it was our first big purchase together, so it was worth it! Come on in, we'll show you around!"

The young couple showed Yoongi's parents their newly acquired home. The elder couple occasionally letting out a few sounds of approval.

"Now, I hope you're hungry, because we're making a barbecue" Kat said, as she led them to their backyard, the only part of the house they had yet to see.

"Woah, you guys got yourselves a really nice place!"

"You know, seeing you two live in such a big house makes me wonder, when can we expect some grandkids?"

Kat chocked on her drink, nervously gulping it down as she processed their question.

"Leave the kids alone honey!"
