Going Back Pt. 2

"(Y/n)?" Piper knocked on your cabin door and you flinched curling up under the covers more.
She opened the door then stepped inside of the dark cabin then walked over and sat on the edge of your messy bed patting your leg.

"Come on (y/n) you've been in here for over three weeks. When are you gonna get over him?"

"Never," your muffled voice said from under the thick blanket.

Piper sighed then yanked the covers off of your body to reveal a sad, lonely, broken you. You hugged your knees to your chest as tears free flowed from your red puffy (e/c) eyes. Your hair was a mess, you hadn't taken a shower or brushed your teeth because you stayed in bed 24/7. You wore a tank top and night shorts with broken hearts on them because that's how you felt.

Heartbroken.

"Oh (y/n)," Piper wrapped you into her arms and you sobbed into her shoulder. She stroked your messy hair and tried to shush you but nothing worked. You kept crying and hiccuping, tears staining yours and her shirt.

"Come on. Leo isn't worth your tears. He's awful for leaving you and going for that slut." She wiped a thumb across your cheek and you sniffled.

"I-I'm sorry," you whispered. Piper gave you a soft smile and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear then helped you to your weak feet.

"There's nothing to be sorry about. Hey, let's get you cleaned up and then get your mind off of you-know-who."

You gave her a sad smile then nodded. Piper took your hand and pulled you to the bathroom handing you a towel then gestured to the shower, getting the message you pushed her out playfully then took a long hot shower. Once done with that you brushed your teeth then walked out of the bathroom only to be gently pushed back in.

"Piper what are you doing?" You asked as she rummaged under the sink and set a bundle of clothes on top of it.

"I'm going to do your make up. I know a really good guy who would be perfect for you and I set up a meeting."

"What?! Piper I can't start dating already I-I'm still-,"

"It's not a date per-say, just a nice outing with a guy. Wearing super nice clothes." She held up a pair of cut off jean shorts, black leggings, and a purple long sleeve shirt with a v-neck.

You cringed. "Oh my gods."

"It's nothing (y/n) come on," she tugged your arm then set the clothes into your arms. Sighing you took them, changed, then walked back into the bathroom so Piper could do your hair and make up.

She blow dried then straightened your hair and put on just mascara, eyeshadow, and lip gloss. Nothing too fancy or slutty.

"There. Perfect." She set the lip gloss down and smiled at you, you smiled back.

"Thanks Piper,"

"Anything for my best friend. Now let's go and meet Steven."

You nodded then slipped into the boots Piper got you then followed her to a picnic table where a boy sat. He had wavy honey colored hair and bright green eyes with freckles around his cheek. You had to admit, he was cute. Piper smiled and tapped his shoulder.

"Steven, meet (y/n),"

Steven turned and his eyes widened when he saw you. You gave him a small smile and wave, he stood clumsily then held out his hand.

"H-Hi I'm S-Steven. You-You must be (y/n). Oh wait, of course you are. Ugh I'm so stupid." He facepalmed and you chuckled at his nervousness.

"Yeah I'm (y/n). Nice to meet you Steven." You shook his hand and he smiled.

"Nice to meet you too. Y-You look beautiful by the way." He blushed as did you.

"Thanks. You look nice also."

You both sat down and started talking about yourselves, getting to know each other. Turns out you had a lot in common. He loved reading, he was socially awkward, and he had just gotten over a bad brake up as well.

"Yeah, Stephanie left me for this Aphrodite guy who had taken her virginity while we were dating. She had been cheating and I had no idea. I thought we were happy, apparently not." Steven sighed and you reached across the table taking his hand.

"I went through something similar with Leo. He fell in love with an island goddess who he swore on the River Styx he would return for. He had locked himself away working on the object that would get him back to her island totally ignoring me until I finally found out what he was doing."

Steven stared at you open mouthed then squeezed your fingers. "Wow. My story sounds like a petty kindergarten crush compared to yours."

You laughed a little then smiled at him. "Steven, thanks so much for listening. I really appreciate it."

He smiled back at you. "For you (y/n), I would do anything. Leo was an idiot for leaving you, you're amazing."

You giggled. "You're not so bad yourself Steven."

You both laughed then parted ways making plans to meet again the next day. Same time. Same place.
