"THAT'S IT I AM TIRED OF YOUR ATTITUDE!" Your teacher screamed at you in front of the whole class.

"What attitude?" You asked genuinely innocent and his face flamed.

"THAT ONE RIGHT THERE!"

"But I don't have an attitude,"

"AND NOW YOU'RE TALKING BACK!"

"Wha-?"

"-DETENTION!" He shoved a pink slip into your hands and told you to spend the rest of last block outside in the hall.

You stared at your shoes, cheeks bright pink as you walked out of the classroom into the empty silent hall. You sat by the lockers, thinking about what had happened. It was stupid, you had merely corrected the teacher when he had said that the Aztecs were native to South America. They actually lived in the Mexico region.

It wasn't like you blurted it out in a snappy know-it-all way. You simply raised your hand, he called on you, and you said the correct answer. Then that shit happened. It wasn't right that he blew up on you for no reason. Shouldn't it be good that you knew the right answer? Apparently not with him.

As you sighed the bell rang signaling the end of the day. Kids filed out of classrooms in waves and you quickly got up to find room 27, which held detention. You maneuvered your way around students, down the stairs tripping a couple of times and walked into the correct room.

It was deathly silent, as you entered every kid in there turned staring at you. (Which was about three people). You swallowed hard as the woman at the head of the class gave you a confused look.

"Um, sweetie are you in the right place?" She asked politely and you blushed staring at the pink sheet in your hand.

"U-Um, I think so. Th-This is detention right?"

"Yes, here let me see your slip." She held out her hand and you placed it into her palm. The woman checked it over then shook her head giving it back to you. "I see, Mr. Lancistar can be strict. Go and take a seat hon."

"Thank you," you walked to the back of the class, setting your bag next to the desk and sat down quietly.

It was pretty quiet, aside from the sibling boys up at the front flicking rubber bands at each other. You thought their names were Travis and Connor. . .Stoll, yeah that's right. It was impossible to tell the two apart, they looked so much alike. Wavy cinnamon hair, freckles, and pale blue eyes.

Then there was another boy over in the corner, he had wild chocolate brown curls, pretty brown eyes, and copper skin. He caught your stare and smirked at you, one side of his mouth rising higher than the other. You blushed and quickly looked away embarrassed. Since detention lasted two more hours you took a book from your backpack and opened it.

About thirty minutes passed before you felt a presence sit itself in the desk beside you. You looked up to see it was the curly haired brown eyed boy who had caught you staring at him. He had a lopsided grin on his face and a mischievous glint in his eyes as he stared at you.

"Hey, I'm Leo." He introduced.

"I'm (y/n)," you said and Leo's grin widened.

"Pretty name, what are you in for?"

You sighed and closed your book, setting your chin in your palm. "Well, I apparently had an attitude with Mr. Lancistar."

Leo nodded and leaned back in his chair. "Yeah, that guys a dick. He put me in here on Monday because I laughed while he was ranting about how his wife left him and took the cat."

You snorted. "Oh yeah, we got that lecture yesterday. It's kinda sad though."

"How is it sad? I would leave that old, chubby, cat loving guy with a comb over in a heart beat."

You both laughed and then started talking, about yourselves and what you liked and disliked. You even found out that Leo was in your second block class. How had you not noticed him before? Leo was smart, funny, and extremely good looking. All of a sudden you both were interrupted as a rubber band bounced off of your desk onto the floor.

"Awwww look at the love birds," Travis and/or Connor teased making you blush deeply.

Leo glared at the two sniggering siblings and then held up his fist, winding his other hand beside it like a fishing reel and his middle finger started to rise with the turning of his hand.

"Oh I'm sorry, this thing just has a mind of its own," Leo shrugged pushing his middle finger down but it sprung back into place and you laughed covering your mouth.

Travis and Connor rolled their eyes, turning in their seats simultaneously.

"Go suck a dick Valdez,"

"I would but your moms not here." Leo smirked and you tried desperately to contain your laughter.

"Fuck off," the other sibling said.

"I know you want to see me do it Connor but I'm not gay, sorry." Leo brushed the two off like they were nothing then turned back to you smiling. "Sorry about those two fuck buckets, they're serious idiots."

You smiled and giggled. "It's okay, I can see that you guys are friends."

"DAMN RIGHT WE ARE!" Travis yelled flicking a rubber band into the side of Leo's head.

"YOU GOT TWO SECONDS STOLL YOU BETTER START RUNNING!" The Latino warned with a smile and the brothers grinned.

"Kiss my ass," Travis said.

"But you ain't got one,"

"OOOOOOHHHHH BUURRRRNNNN!" Connor laughed smacking Travis in the back of his head and you and Leo laughed.

"I thought that detention sucked," you smiled and Leo smiled back.

"Yeah, it does, you just gotta be stuck with the right people." He winked making you blush.

The two hours passed quickly. Leo, Travis, and Connor kept you entertained easily. The nice woman who sat at the desk up front finally dismissed you and Leo walked out with you to the activity bus picking up the after school and detention kids.

"That was pretty fun," Leo grinned.

"Yeah, it was. You guys are hilarious."

"Well I try." Leo bumped your shoulder playfully and you rolled your eyes smiling a little. "Hey, see you tomorrow, right?" He asked and you nodded.

"Yeah, tomorrow."

"I'll be looking for you," Leo grinned and you blushed. "See ya later (y/n), we should get stuck in detention again sometime."

You laughed and nodded. "Definitely."
