"EEERRRRRGGG!" You groaned balling up the piece of paper stained with number problems tossing it into the trash can.

Math. Just the word made you cringe. Curse whoever came up with algebra and geometry. You had a big final coming up and weren't doing so hot in class. Mainly because you slept through the whole thing. One time you had a dream that seven was chasing you trying to eat your head off. Boy that was a wonderful day. (Note the sarcasm).

A heavy sigh escaped your lips as you banged your head on the kitchen table repeatedly. Your pencil bouncing beside you from the vibration.

"I have to pass this test, otherwise I'm not going to advance into the next course." You grumbled to yourself. You picked your head up, setting your chin in your palm just as the doorbell rang.

The math tutor was here. You had scheduled for someone to give you extra support over the school website and it randomly jumbled you with someone from the advanced courses. Aka math wiz's two years ahead. Quickly jumping up you ran to the door, relief sweeping over you.

You opened the door and your mouth dropped open. A boy grinned at you, a pencil tucked behind one pointed ear and textbooks in his hands along with notebooks and a copy of the homework you were to work on.

"Sup, this is the (l/n) residence right?" He asked and you nodded numbly stepping to the side to let him in. "Cool I'm at the right place. Nice house." The boy complimented walking into the room.

"Th-Thanks," you stuttered blushing and he chuckled holding out his hand.

"I'm Leo Valdez, your new math tutor."

You shakily took his hand and shook it. This boy was extremely cute, not even that, he was hot. How in the world did you get paired with him? Leo grinned cheekily at you then walked over sitting at the table you had been working on previously, spreading out his materials while stacking yours into a neat little pile.

"Now, before we begin. Snacks." Leo said and you raised an eyebrow.

"Snacks?"

"Yes, I always find it helpful when I'm doing work to snack on something. It keeps you focused and on task, it also powers you through the work. Do you have any snacks?"

"Um, yeah." You walked into the kitchen and grabbed a few things. A bag of chips, two cans of Coke, and two apples for a littler something healthy.

You went back into the room and set the items on the table, Leo smiling up at you.

"Perfect, now come and sit." He patted the chair next to him and you sat, keeping your hands at your sides as Leo munched on some chips and started to explain the problems.

"Now, this is fairly simple algebra. All you have to do is find the value of y. Just subtract 325 from 150 and divide it by 10 and you get the answer."

You stared blankly at the paper, Leo's words going in one ear and out the other. What the heck was he talking about?

"Um. . ."

He chuckled at your struggle then took your pencil simplifying the problem. "Here, this should be easier."

You plucked the pencil from his hand and started to work. Fifteen minutes and a bunch of erasing later you showed the paper to Leo and he shook his head, sipping from his Coke.

"Nope, you multiplied by ten not divided."

"You figured that out by this chicken scratch?" You said and he laughed.

"My mind works like a calculator, I just saw your answer and knew it was wrong. Plus, I had already solved the problem before you even put lead against the paper." He grinned at you and you puffed your cheeks out in frustration.

"Aw come on no fair!"

"How is that not fair? I'm the one teaching you."

You sighed then went back to work on the problem, this time fixing your mistake. Leo and you went through half the paper before numbers starting swimming off of the page and around your head.

"Uuuuuuuuugh," you groaned hitting your head against the table.

"Hahaha, don't ruin that pretty little face." Leo smirked and you blushed at his words.

"How much is left?" You asked and Leo clicked his tongue.

"About forty more questions-,"

"-UUUUGGGGGHHHH!" You laid back in your chair, running your hands over your face and Leo shook his head smiling.

"I've never seen someone hate math so much."

"Yeah well it's a terrible invention. Fuck Europe for creating this." You flicked off the air and he chuckled.

"Actually, Muslims came up with algebra."

You blushed and flicked him off. "Whatever fuck off."

Leo full blown laughed and shook his head again, setting his cheek against his hand.

"You're a pretty interesting person (y/n). Why haven't I seen you around school?" He asked and you shrugged.

"I don't particularly like to be noticed, that's probably why." You answered and a little frown crossed Leo's lips.

"Why don't you like to be noticed?"

Your cheeks blushed pink and you pulled up your jacket hood a tiny bit. "I'm socially awkward, and, I'm not pretty."

"What are you talking about? You're gorgeous. Much better than those girls who dress like sluts and should be working the corner."

You snorted and giggled. "I'm pretty sure I saw one girl with a dollar in her bra."

Leo grinned at you. "Pretty sure she stopped by the strip club before coming to school."

You both laughed, not noticing how close you two were becoming, physically and emotionally. You were at a closer proximity, your heart was beating against your chest at an odd rhythm. It was like it was trying to jump out of your chest. Leo smiled at you and you smiled back, he suddenly blushed a deep red and cleared his throat turning back to the homework.

"We should. . .get back to work." He said.

You were a little disappointed, but nodded anyways. "Yeah, you're right."

It took two hours to finish the whole sheet, making sure work was shown and that each answer was circled in order to be seen. Leo smiled proudly at you as he gathered up his stuff.

"You did great today (y/n), I think you're going to do fine on that final."

"Thanks Leo, I wouldn't have gotten through anything without you."
Even though you were still slightly confused about the work, it was a little easier.

Leo grinned as you walked him to the front door, opening it and he stepped outside turning to you.

"So. . .same time Saturday?" He asked and you smiled.

"Yeah, sounds great."

You both stood there in silence, shifting awkwardly at the lost conversation. No words were left to be spoken, so Leo waved and walked down the steps bidding you goodbye. But, before he made it to the sidewalk, he dropped his stuff and ran up the porch steps pressing his lips to yours.

You closed your eyes kissing back eagerly, already loving the feeling of Leo's warm soft lips against your own. He encircled your waist, pulling you to his body, your arms snaking around his neck. Leo moaned a little as your fingers played with the curls at the back of his neck. He gently bit your bottom lip and you shuddered from the pleasurable pinch.

Leo pulled away blushing deeply as did you, breath a little ragged and hands trembling.

"Sorry," he muttered and you smiled.

"Don't be."

"Well, see you Saturday."

"Yeah,"

Leo grinned and let you go, walking down the steps almost drunkenly and picked up his stuff that was left on the ground and walked away. You watched as he did so until he disappeared, smiling you closed the door and leaned against it, a dreamy sigh escaping your lips.

In love with your hot math tutor. Well, that was a first.
