Welcome Home (Pt. 4 of Positive)

Leo opened the door of the apartment for you and you walked inside with the baby carrier in your arms, Esperanza sound asleep in a bundle of blankets. As you stepped inside the lights blazed on and you looked up to see everyone standing in the living room with gifts and party hats on with the biggest grin on their faces.

"Welcome home!" Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, and even Nico said blowing into the little party horn things and Leo shushed them quickly as you laughed.

"She's sleeping guys sssh!"

"Sorry," they whispered and you chuckled walking around giving them each a hug as Leo stood protectively next to the baby carrier as Esperanza still slept like, well, like a baby.

"Oh my gods she's so cute!" Hazel whispered bending over to get a closer look at her.

"She's absolutely gorgeous," Piper said pulling the blanket down a little to see her better.

"Leo how did she come from you?" Percy asked and Leo punched his shoulder making the sea green eyed boy laugh.

"Can I hold her?" Frank asked you and you smiled setting the carrier on the couch and picking up Esperanza who made a tiny noise and yawned. You set her in Frank's arms and he smiled down at her tickling her chin.

"Coochy coochy coo,"

Everyone laughed and Frank blushed then handed her over to Hazel who squealed quietly swaying back and forth.

"Oh (y/n) she's so adorable,"

You and Leo smiled proudly and he wrapped an arm around your shoulders kissing your temple. Hazel passed Esperanza to Piper and she grinned holding her close.

"She's so cuddly,"
Jason peeked over her shoulder and Piper handed her to him.

"Congratulations man," Jason smiled to Leo and he smiled back nodding.

"Thanks dude,"

The son of Jupiter handed Esperanza to the daughter of Athena who smiled and showed her to Percy. The sea green eyed boy studied the baby with interest.

"She's so. . .squishy looking,"

Annabeth frowned and bumped his shoulder. "Shut up Seaweed Brain she's beautiful."

Everyone laughed again then Annabeth walked over to Nico who had been sitting on the couch watching silently. You then sat next to the son of Hades as Annabeth held Esperanza out to him, his midnight eyes widening.

"You can hold her," you said and he shook his head.

"Oh no I-I can't. . .I've never held a baby before,"

You took Esperanza from Annabeth's arms then set her in Nico's, he stiffened as the baby girl squirmed around a little staring up at him with curiosity.

"Support her head. . .yeah like that, make sure she doesn't move out of your arms. . .that's right." You encouraged Nico and he held the baby carefully like she was the most fragile thing in the world.

"H-Hi," he said to Esperanza and a tiny little grin that looked suspiciously like Leo's spread across her lips. "She smiled at me!" Nico smiled excited and everyone aww'd at The Ghost King and the tiny baby in his arms.

You smiled and gave Nico a side hug as he smiled back and cuddled Esperanza close. The Seven crowded around Nico and you as the baby girl squirmed around and gave people random grins making cute little noises. Someone suddenly grabbed your arm and pulled you up taking you to the corner of the room as your friends talked to Esperanza.

Leo smiled at you pulling you close, his eyes so full of happiness and love. "You did an amazing job (y/n). I'm so happy that I have you and Esperanza, nothing can ever take that away."

You smiled back and kissed Leo with so much love and passion that you were both breathless when you pulled away.

"I love you Leo, and I love Esperanza. Everything is so much more perfect. My life is complete now, I'm never letting you go."

Leo held you close, his forehead pressed against yours and his beautiful brown eyes closed as he swayed with you back and forth to the sounds of your friends happy chatter and Esperanza's cute little noises. Nothing could ever ruin this perfect moment.
