Babysitter Nico (Pt. 8 of Positive)

"Do you have Esperanza's food?" You asked as Leo pulled you to the door and Nico rolled his eyes.

"Yes."

"And her diapers?"

"Yes."

"And Stus?"

"Yes."

"And-,"

"-Alright (y/n) Nico's got this," Leo interrupted pulling you more. "He's very capable of taking care of Esperanza. Plus, I wanna have some alone time with you." Leo grinned nibbling your earlobe and you smiled as Nico fake gagged.

"Okay you two now go," Nico pushed you both out of the apartment and shut the door before you could ask anymore questions then turned and walked to Esperanza's room where she was sound asleep in her big girl bed. He smiled and tucked her in more, like the great uncle he was.

{Nico's P.O.V}

Oh my gods Esperanza is so adorable when she sleeps. She sucks her thumb and curls up in a ball and has that cute little lopsided grin on her face. She is definitely Leo's kid. But she has (y/n)'s beauty. All the boys are gonna be running after her when she grows up and be allowed to date. . .of course when she turns thirty.

"Uncle Nico?" Esperanza says sleepily, rubbing one eye and slowly sitting up. I smile and sit on the bed.

"Hey little girl, did you have a good nap?"

Esperanza nods and crawls into my lap curling up into a cute little ball, her head laying on my chest.

"I had a dweam dat dis biiiiiig dwagon came and pick-ed me up and take-ed me to dis place. It said Camp Half Bwood on a big sign. Den dis man who looked like a white horsey said I was someting called a. . .demigod?"

My smile falters for a second but I don't let her see. Her having these dreams already? Even though she is a half blood descendant Esperanza still has that blood in her, especially if both of her parents are demigods. Which they are. Leo and (y/n) should here about this when they come back.

"That sounds like a cool dream. Why don't me and you go get something to eat?" I say quickly changing the subject.

Esperanza smiles and wraps her arms around my neck, "McDonalds?"

"McDonalds,"

{Time Skippity Skip}

"What do you want Esperanza?"

She looks up at the overwhelming menu and stares with her brown eyes wide and tiny hand gripping mine tightly. Esperanza bites her bottom lip, looking from me to the cashier lady who pops her gum.

"Uuuuummmmm. . .what Uncle Nico is getting," she concludes and I smile ordering two Happy Meals then grab our cups walking to the drink machine.

"What drink do you want?" I ask and she grins.

"What Uncle Nico is getting,"

I chuckle then take my cup setting it against the Coke dispenser then once my cup is filled I take Esperanza's and set it gently under the Coke dispenser.

"Hey what's that?" I point in a random direction and she turns, I quickly fill her cup with fruit punch then put the top on sticking a straw into it.

"I don't see anyting," Esperanza says turning back around and I set the cup in her hands.

"Oh, never mind."

Our order is called and I get the tray then sit in a booth as Esperanza crawls into the seat across from me, her long braid draping over her shoulder. I open up her bag and set out her food and she smiles nibbling on her fries as I bite into my burger.

"I glad you babysittin' me Uncle Nico," she says and I smile at her.

"I'm glad. Who's my favorite girl?"

"MEEEEEE!" She giggles raising her hands in the air and I laugh.

"That's right."

{Another Time Skippity Skip because why not?}

"Eight. . .Nine. . .Ten! Ready or not here I come!" I turn and scan the living room, my eyes looking at all the places a four year old girl could hide. The curtains rustle and I see a pair of tiny feet poking out from the bottom. I grin evilly then sneak over soundlessly and rip back the curtains.

"Found ya!" I pick Esperanza up and she squeals in delight as I blow into her neck, her giggles uncontrollable.

"U-Uncle Ni-Nico stop!" She laughs and I smirk setting her on the couch tickling her sides. Esperanza laughs harder, her cheeks turning pink and legs kicking trying to scramble away.

"Uncle Nico I-I ca-can't BWEATHE!" She gasps and I laugh letting her go, she rolls off of the couch holding her stomach and I laugh harder as she pops up grinning. "My turn!"

Esperanza tackles me tickling my sides and I only laugh harder letting her do what she wanted. Her tiny hands work their way up to my neck and tears start streaming down my face as I choke with laugher.

"Okay-Okay s-stop I-I can't breathe I can't breathe!"

Esperanza giggles and let's me go, I suck in a breathe panting and she laughs laying down on my chest closing her heavy eyelids.

"I sleepy,"

I stroke her curls and pull a blanket over us. "Go to sleep then."

"Sing for me?"

I lay back hugging her close and rub her back soothingly then start singing.

"Close your eyes, I know what you see. The darkness is high, and you're in ten feet deep. . ."

{Normal P.O.V}

You and Leo stumble inside the apartment in a mess of lips and hands on each other's bodies. He kisses down your neck feverishly and you moan but cut yourself off.

"L-Leo Nico and Esperanza are-are here," you bite your lip and he keeps guiding you to the bedroom.

"I know, we'll be quiet."

"Wait I have to check on them first," you walk into the living room and stop in your tracks wanting to squeal. Nico lays on the couch snoring quietly as Esperanza is sound asleep on his chest, thumb in her mouth.

"Awwww," you whisper and Leo comes up behind you wrapping his arms around your torso smiling.

"So sweet,"

"Definitely,"

"Hey (y/n),"

"Hm?"

"I made our room soundproof," he whispers in your ear and you shudder.

"Okay, just this one time while they're in the house."
