"Guardian angel? But-how-what-I-?" She put a finger to my lips to shush me, rolling her eyes.

"You ramble too much, yes I'm your guardian angel. Don't think too much about it." She grinned and winked, making me blush.

As she took her finger from my mouth I glanced at her attire, she wore a mint green tank top with a dreamcatcher on the front with ripped jeans and turquoise converse. Her hair was down and slightly wild, but I honestly really liked it. She still had that glowing aura around her, but the halo was gone along with the white dress and wings.

"What happened to your. . .angelness?" I asked and she chuckled.

"I thought you would be more comfortable if I wore something a little more. . .earth teen. Plus I'm enrolled in your school now so I can't very well walk around with my wings hanging out now can I?"

"Wait, you're going to school here?" My eyes nearly popped out of my head again making her laugh.

"Yeah, I do have to keep an eye on you. Gabriel thought it would be a good idea that I stayed closer to you, in a more well suited environment."

"Gabriel? Who's that?" I asked as she started to walk down the hallway, me trailing behind her.

"You ask too many questions Leo Valdez, you'll know in time. As for right now, just act as though nothing has changed, I'm just a regular school girl and you're a regular school boy. We may interact but I will only show my true form when you are in dire need of assistance. Understood?" She turned and I almost bumped into her, being taller I had to look down at her as she looked up at me, our faces extremely close.

I swallowed and nodded. "C-Can I at least ask your name?"

A smile graced her lips. "It's (y/n)."

"(Y/n)," I repeated and damn did it feel good rolling off of my tongue and passing my lips.

The bell rang signaling the end of first period, the both of us looking towards classroom doors opening and kids filing out heading to their next class. Looking back in front of me I was surprised to find (y/n) gone, it was as if she hadn't even been there. I searched the sea of people to catch a glimpse of (h/c) hair disappearing into the crowd, vanishing from my view like a ghost.

Lunch Time:

Jason plopped his tray in front of me, grumbling angrily under his breath as Piper sat next to him rubbing his shoulder. I slurped up the noodle that had been hanging from my mouth, my left over spaghetti dinner jumping from the forcefulness of the blonde sitting down.

"What's wrong Superman?" I questioned, mouth full. Hazel, who was sitting next to me, gently slapped my arm to indicate that was rude. Everyone turned to Jason in concern.

"His football coach is benching him during Saturdays game because his biology grade is slipping," Piper informed us all.

"Aw that sucks man," Percy said while holding out a piece of his blue cookie. "Here, it'll make you feel better."

Jason cracked a smile and took it. "Thanks bro."

"No problem bro."

"I swear you two are more gay than di Angelo." I smirked making the others chuckle. From the end of the table Nico leant forward to give me one of his deadly glares that sent my blood running cold, man he was scary when he wanted to be.

Once the topic of Jason's benching was settled lunch continued like normal; Percy seeing how many spoons he could stick to his face, Annabeth reading while eating, Piper discussing girl things with Hazel while Frank cuddled her, Jason egging Percy on, and Nico being his grumpy moody self, but once in a while he would make a smart ass comment or show off one of his rare smiles. As I took another forkful of spaghetti in my mouth a presence came up to the table that radiated kindness and purity.
