(Leo's P.O.V)
He knew he shouldn't have been staring, but he couldn't take his eyes off of you. You were bent over a table, expertly crafting a Celestial Bronze sword with a welding helmet over your face. Leo's brown eyes traveled down your back and to your hips, watching the way they would shift from side to side occasionally as you switched positions. It was wrong, oh so wrong, as you were his sister, but at the moment Leo didn't care. He could stare at you all day, especially when you worked in the forges with him.
"Hey Leo, we need your opinion on something." Nyssa said clapping him on the shoulder, pulling Leo out of his sick thoughts. He jumped and faced her, hoping she hadn't caught him staring.
"U-Uh, yeah s-sure what's up?" He stammered.
She raised an eyebrow, but shrugged it off, assuming it was just Leo being his usual self. "We can't figure out what to do with the design for the chariot this year. Harley and I have been fighting and-"
Honestly, Leo did not care one bit. His eyes kept wandering over to you, and you had taken the helmet off. You shook your hair out wiping some sweat from your forehead and Leo gulped, eyes wandering to places they shouldn't have been. You suddenly turned and caught his stare, a blush creeping onto your cheeks as Leo froze and smiled sheepishly. You smiled back and waved shyly, then grabbed the casted sword carrying it away to be solidified. Leo sighed dreamily just as Nyssa snapped her fingers in front of his face.
"Hello? Earth to Leo, I asked you like twenty questions and you haven't answered a damn one." She glared setting her hands on her hips. He flushed with embarrassment and rubbed the back of his neck.
"S-Sorry, what did you say?"
"Ugh, forget it. I'll just go ask Tessa." And with that Nyssa walked away, very annoyed.
Leo sighed heavily just as he felt a tap on his shoulder, turning his face blushed crimson as you were standing there, looking up at him with your big (e/c) eyes. You nervously twisted your welding gloves in your hands and bit your lip, a tint of pink staining your cheeks.
"U-Um, I-I was wondering if maybe you could help me with arrow crafting? I'm not that good, and you're the best weapons maker in all of our cabin. So. . .could you?" You asked nervously and Leo's blush deepened as did yours. You thought he was the best? Leo's ego shot through the roof as he grinned and set his hands in his pockets.
"Sure! No problema señorita." Leo's cocky smirk showed and you smiled shyly.
"Thanks so much Leo! You're the best big brother ever."
His heart broke a little at the word brother, but he didn't let it show. Leo's smile stayed as you put back on your welding gloves and he did the same, taking out a chunk of Celestial Bronze to be melted down.
"Now, the first step," Leo instructed while you sat, listening intently, "is to use as little metal as possible. Arrows are to be light and slightly flexible, but straight so it won't be off course when shot. I for one like to use half of the usually required metal, my sheer awesomeness just makes the weapon perfect."
You giggled at his cockiness and shook your head. "Got it Captain Awesomeness. What next?"
"Well," he gestured for you to come forward and you did, standing over the casting plate as he stood behind you, "after the metal is melted, pour it gently into the mold."
Leo's hands heated up instantly melting the metal into a bucket and he set it in your gloved hands, his arms wrapped around you to help you pour. Your face blushed as Leo's breath tickled the side of your neck, his eyes flicking to you every couple of seconds. Once the metal was in the mold, you set the bucket aside and Leo's hands set themselves onto your waist, face burying into the side of your neck. You jumped from surprise and embarrassment, Leo was your brother after all.
"Hueles muy bien. ¿Por qué Te quiero como algo más que una hermana?" He whispered against your skin mostly to himself, but it was enough to make you shiver. Your heart was slamming against your chest as Leo inhaled deeply, his other hand coming up to twirl a strand of your hair around his index finger. He couldn't possibly take it anymore, you both were alone, and you were oh so close to him.
"L-Leo wha-what a-are you d-doing?" You stuttered uncontrollably and he spun you around, pinning you to the edge of the table, his fiery brown eyes boring into yours.
"(Y/n), I can't possibly keep this a secret anymore. Every time I'm around you, I feel all weird inside and I can't control myself. You're just so beautiful and smart and fun and. . .I know that you're my sister but. . ." Leo's voice trailed off, he bowed his head so his curly bangs covered his eyes.
By now your heart was trying desperately to leap from your ribcage and your face was fire engine red. Was he saying what you thought he was saying? Was Leo. . .in love with you? As in, romantically? You couldn't deny that you were attracted to him, I mean, he was Leo Valdez for gods sakes. There was no explanation. You were just never sure of your feelings, it was sick and twisted and totally forbidden.
"(Y/n)," Leo spoke and you looked down at him, he slowly raised his head, one eye hidden by his hair. "Can I kiss you?"
Your eyes widened, without even registering the question you slowly nodded and he leaned up crashing his lips to yours heatedly. It was so wrong, but to Leo, it felt so right. His heart slammed against his chest as you kissed him back, it felt as though sparks danced across the both of your lips. Leo's hands ran up your back and to your hair, his fingers running through the silky locks. You tangled your fingers in his curls, tugging them lightly making him groan.
One part of Leo's mind was screaming at him to stop, that this was wrong, but another part told the other to shut up and enjoy this. He couldn't possibly be more happy. He was kissing you and you were kissing back, passionately. As you both pulled away, Leo set his forehead to yours, breathing heavily. Your face was flushed, but to him it just made you even more beautiful.
"L-Leo, wha-what did we just do?" You stammered and he closed his eyes, holding you close.
"I don't know. I know that this is forbidden, but honestly I don't care." Leo responded.
You took his hand in yours, lacing your fingers together. "How are we going to make this work?"
"We'll just have to keep it a secret," he said pecking your lips. "Just don't worry about it. If you worry, it'll only add to stress. I don't want my love stressed."
You smiled and closed your eyes, nuzzling into him. How could you possibly keep this from people? Leo didn't have a clue, but he would do anything to be with you. Even if it meant being shunned and kicked out of camp. As long as Leo had you, he didn't care what happened.
