Alastor mumbled to himself as he tried to fix his radio staff that was still destroyed after his fight against Adam. Needless to say he was finding everything more and more stress with each day that passed. The only sorce of relief he felt was when he was with Andria and their children. It was frustrating for him. He'd never been in this type of situation before, "Come on, stupid staff." He held his hand over where the break was as his hand glowed green. The staff also started to get a green hue around it as well, but Alastor couldn't hold his hand up any longer. He pulled it away, revealing his still very broken staff. Alastor growled in frustration, "Dammit!" He cursed slamming his hands on the table.
"Daddy ?" A small voice came from behind him.
Alastor turned to see his son nervously peeking at him from the doorway, " Oh, Dante, um, what are you doing here, son ? Shouldn't you be with your mother and sister ?"
"Sissy is getting her hair done with mommy and Grandpa's busy making something, he said something about a fire breathing duck ? Are...are you okay, Daddy ?"
Alastor's eyes softened as he approached his son crouching down to his son's height, "I'm fine, Dante. Dad's just having trouble fixing his staff..." Alastor trailed off looking at his staff before turning back to his son, "You know what ? I'm going to take a break from this and how about you and I spend some good old father son time ?"
Dante's eyes lit up, "Really ?"
Alastor smiled and nodded, "Yes, why not, you and I haven't spent some quality time together in a while so now would be the perfect time to do so. Anything special you'd like to do or perhaps you'd prefer to go somewhere special ?"
Dante thought about it carefully, he'd never really been asked about what he'd wanted to do before, "Can we go to Carnival Town , Dad. I want to say hello to aunt Rosie and see all the cool shops there !"
Alastor chuckled at his son's mispronunciation of 'Cannibal Town' , but nodded nonetheless,"Sure, son, we can go there if you'd like." Dante's eyes lit up like a child's during Sinsmas as his father ruffled his hair affectionately. Alastor grabbed his son's hand and walked down to the parlour where they spotted Andria and Athena.
Andria, who was still braiding her daughter's hair caught sight of them, heading towards the door, "And where are you boys off too ?" She asked, her usual motherly tone coming out.
"We're just going out to spend some quality time together. Since it appears you girls are a bit preoccupied." Alastor explained innocently.
His wife gave him a skeptical look, as if to warn him not to do anything stupid, which almost made him break a sweat, "Well, wherever you're off to be back by 5:30 the latest."
Alastor smiled and nodded with mock sternness, "Will do, my darling." He said before heading out of the hotel with his son.
Alastor smiled brightly as he watched his son's excitement grow the closer they got to Cannibal Town. It reminded him of himself in a way. Of course both Dante and Andria were always fond of Cannibal Town and they got along with the other children rather well. Even the few adults of Cannibal Town seemed to adore them, though he was mostly sure that that was due to the fact that he and Andria would one day rule this realm. Rosie was especially fond of them. She'd always set aside some pinky fingers for them and although Andria was against the idea of them eating 'human' flesh, Rosie always did manage to sneak the kids a few cannibal treats every now and then. Finally they reached Cannibal Town, earning the usual friendly smile from a few of the residents as they passed by. Dante could see by the crowd of demons crowding outside of Rosie's emporium that she was busy having a sale, "Dad, can we go see, Auntie Rosie."
