After getting up, she took a quick shower, put on her bathrobe, and made her way to the kitchen to start cooking. She wanted everything to be perfect, and she had put a lot of thought into what he might enjoy.

She whipped up a spread: burgers, hotdogs, a homemade berry pie, and a few chocolate pastries for dessert. Each item felt like a small gesture of love, a way of sharing herself with him. She packed everything neatly in a picnic basket, along with some fresh juice and a small cooler of iced lemonade.

By the time she was done, the clock read 12, and she realized she needed to get ready quickly if she wanted to be on time. She rushed upstairs, pulling open her closet to find something just right. After a few moments of contemplation, she chose a blue and white floral sundress that flowed just past her knees, paired with simple white heels. She slipped into the dress, loving how the soft fabric moved as she did.

Once ready, she placed the basket and a folded blanket in her car, double-checking that she had everything. She grabbed her favorite blue gradient sunglasses and paused for a moment, her heart fluttering with anticipation. As a last-minute thought, she decided to stop by a florist and picked up a bouquet of blue orchids.

Finally, she arrived at Travis's place, holding the bouquet in her hands as she rang his doorbell. The door opened, and there he was, looking effortlessly handsome in beige pants, a white T-shirt, and a light blue button-down worn open over it. The sight of him made her heart skip a beat.

With a playful smile, she held out the bouquet. "For you, my lady."

Travis laughed, his deep chuckle filling the air. "You're ridiculous," he said, taking the flowers from her hands.

Taylor laughed, "Thought I'd switch it up and be the one bringing flowers this time."

"Careful, or I might get used to this," he teased, placing the orchids in a vase near his doorway. "Come on in for a second?"

She stepped inside, feeling a comforting warmth just from being around him. After setting up the flowers, Travis turned back to her, an eager glint in his eyes. "Alright, let's go."

They walked out together, and he made a move to open her car door, but Taylor held up her hand, shaking her head. "Not today, mister. Today, you're the 'lady.' Let me."

Travis chuckled, his face lighting up as he let her take the lead. "You're something else, Swift," he said, climbing into the passenger seat with a laugh that echoed her own.

She slipped into the driver's seat, putting on her seatbelt. "So I've been told," she replied with a grin, turning on the radio as they began their drive.

The drive wasn't too long, and the radio filled the car with music. When Baby, I Love Your Way came on, Taylor started singing along, her voice light and carefree. Travis quickly joined in, their voices harmonizing as they belted out, "Oh baby, I love your way, every day, yeah yeah."

A little later, Somebody To You by The Vamps came on, and Travis turned toward her, his voice playful but his gaze intent. "I used to wanna be living like there's only me, now I spend my time thinking 'bout a way to get you off my mind."

Taylor felt her cheeks flush as she smiled, the words hitting closer to her heart than she expected. They shared a knowing look, a silent understanding passing between them.

They arrived at a grassy hill overlooking the city, with hardly anyone around. Taylor parked the car, got out, and opened Travis's door with a flourish.

"Such a gentleman," Travis joked, playing along as he stepped out.

"Thank you, thank you," Taylor replied, feigning a bow before grabbing the picnic basket and blanket from the back of her car.
