By the third evening, everyone was sitting in the backyard, enjoying the summer breeze. Travis and Jason were deep in one of their usual brotherly banters, while Taylor chatted with Donna and Kylie.

They were all sitting in the backyard, enjoying the summer breeze. Kylie looked increasingly uncomfortable as the baby's kicks seemed relentless. She shifted on her chair every few minutes, grimacing slightly but waving off everyone's concerns.

"I swear, this baby is auditioning for Cirque du Soleil," Kylie groaned, adjusting a pillow behind her back.

Donna chuckled. "That just means she's going to come out strong. Just like Wyatt."

Taylor smiled and opened her mouth to respond when her phone rang. Seeing it was Tree, she excused herself and walked a few paces away to take the call.

"Hey, Tree. What's up?"

Taylor, pinching the bridge of her nose, paced back and forth on the grass as Tree launched into the latest drama at the hospital.

Tree: "Do you remember that nightmare VIP patient, Mr. White?"

Taylor: "The one who made me question all my life choices? Oh yeah, how could I forget."

Tree snorted. "Well, he's back. And he's being an absolute menace. There's a situation with his billing, and he's raising hell. I think he's threatening to call the board."

Taylor groaned, pacing back and forth on the grass. "Can you handle it? If not, I'll catch a flight back and deal with him myself."

"No, no, I've got it," Tree assured her. "But I just needed to vent before I strangle him. You know how it is."

Taylor laughed softly. "I do. Call me if things escalate."

As she hung up and returned to the group, Donna noticed her tense shoulders. "Everything okay, sweetheart?"

Taylor nodded, waving it off. "Just work. Same old drama. Nothing to worry about."

Kylie, despite her discomfort, raised a curious brow. "How do you manage a whole hospital without losing your mind?"

Taylor chuckled, sinking back into her chair. "No one's ever really asked me that."

"Well, now I am," Kylie said with a weak smile.

Taylor thought for a moment, brushing a stray hair from her face. "I think it comes down to loving what I do. Even when it's hard, even when it takes a toll, there's a purpose to it. And I've learned that having the right people by your side—people who genuinely care about you—makes all the difference." Her gaze flickered to Travis for a brief moment, a soft smile playing on her lips.

Kylie smiled knowingly. "Well, whatever you're doing, it's working."

But before Taylor could reply, Kylie suddenly froze. Her eyes widened as she clutched her belly.

"Oh my God," Kylie gasped. "My water just broke."

Everyone froze. For a moment, there was absolute silence in the backyard, save for the chirping of birds. Then chaos erupted.

"Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap!" Jason shot up from his chair, knocking over his drink in the process. "What do we do? What do we do?"

Travis wasn't much better. "We need towels! No, wait, that's for movies. Uh—THE BAG! Where's the hospital bag?!"

Jason clutched his head, looking around wildly, "Oh my God. Okay. Bag! Where's the hospital bag?!"

Travis was pacing in a circle like a confused golden retriever. "Keys! I need the car keys! Do I even have the car keys? Should I run and get the car? Wait, Jason's driving! Do I need shoes?!"
