(Travis's Perspective)

Travis was in the bathroom, humming a tune to himself while finishing up his shower. Meanwhile, Patrick had come back to their shared dorm room after practice, dropping onto his bed with a groan.

Travis's phone buzzed on the bedside table, catching Patrick's attention. Curious, he sat up and leaned over to check the screen. His eyes immediately caught the name lighting up the FaceTime call: Tay❤️.

A sly grin spread across Patrick's face as he muttered, "Oh, what do we have here?" Unable to resist the temptation, he reached over and picked up the phone, carefully staying out of the camera's view as he answered the call.

"Hey babe, sorry I missed your call earlier. I was in the kitchen, and my phone was on the couch," a warm, feminine voice came through.

Patrick froze for a moment, biting back a laugh. The woman's voice sounded sweet, genuine, and... completely clueless that Patrick was the one holding the phone.

When there was no response, she called again, this time with slight concern in her tone. "Trav? Where are you?"

Still grinning like the mischievous troublemaker he was, Patrick remained silent.

"Travis?" she called again, her voice more confused now.

Just then, the bathroom door opened, steam pouring out as Travis emerged, toweling off his damp hair. His eyes immediately locked onto Patrick holding his phone, and his relaxed demeanor turned to pure panic.

"Pat, what the hell are you doing with my phone?" Travis barked, his tone somewhere between exasperated and mortified.

Patrick turned the screen toward Travis, revealing Taylor's confused but amused face. "Oh, nothing. Just meeting your mystery caller," Patrick teased, smirking devilishly.

Travis lunged toward him, but Patrick, expecting the move, jumped back with surprising agility, dodging out of reach. "Pat, I swear to God, give me my phone!" Travis yelled, chasing him as Patrick darted around the room.

Patrick climbed onto one bed, hopping onto another to keep a barrier between them, laughing the entire time. "Not a chance, man! I need to know who Tay❤️ is!"

The chase was on. Patrick hopped from bed to bed, narrowly avoiding Travis's grabs, while Taylor watched the chaos unfold through the phone. She couldn't help but laugh softly, realizing what was going on.

"Pat, you're dead!" Travis yelled, finally tackling him onto the bed. Patrick yelped in exaggerated pain as Travis wrestled the phone out of his grasp, pinning him down with one hand while holding the phone triumphantly in the other.

(Taylor's Perspective)

From her end of the FaceTime call, Taylor watched the entire scene play out with amusement. She blinked a few times, rechecking the caller ID to make sure she'd called the right number.

Then it clicked. She heard Travis yell, "Pat!" and realized who the culprit was.

"Oh my God," Taylor muttered to herself, stifling laughter. She could hear the boys scuffling, Patrick's playful protests, and Travis's annoyed grunts. The sheer absurdity of it reminded her of the antics she endured with her friends just days earlier.

Finally, Travis came into view, his face flushed but smiling as soon as his eyes landed on her.

"Hey, baby. Sorry about the chaos," he said, slightly out of breath.

Taylor smirked, folding her arms. "No need to apologize. This is déjà vu for me. My friends did the same thing to me earlier this week."

"Really?" Travis asked, his tone lightening.

"Mhmm. Seems like we both need to work on our phone security," Taylor quipped. "Where's Patrick?"

Travis shifted the camera to show Patrick sprawled out on the bed, held down by Travis's arm clamped over his mouth. Patrick waved dramatically, making muffled noises of protest.

"Trav, let him go," Taylor said with a mock-stern expression.

"He deserves it," Travis grumbled, though a playful smile tugged at his lips.

"Travis," Taylor said firmly, raising an eyebrow.

With an exaggerated sigh, Travis released Patrick, who immediately rolled away, clutching his ribs in mock agony. "Ahh, man! That's how you treat your QB?" Patrick groaned, dramatically rubbing his shoulder.

"Do you want me to pin you again?" Travis deadpanned, though his grin betrayed him.

Patrick raised his hands in surrender. "Nah, I'm good."

Patrick turned his attention to the phone. "Hello, pretty lady. Thanks for saving me from this big yeti."

Taylor laughed, waving at him. "You're welcome. Someone had to intervene."

Patrick smirked, throwing a glance at Travis. "You're even prettier than I imagined. No wonder he's been all smiley and distracted lately."

Taylor chuckled, catching the death glare Travis shot at Patrick. "Trav, stop glaring at him," she said, shaking her head.

Travis sighed dramatically but shifted his attention back to Taylor.

"I should let you two get back to your boy stuff," Taylor said, smiling at them both. Then she added with a cheeky grin, "Oh, and Patrick? Yes, I'm his girlfriend. Just in case you were wondering."

Patrick's jaw dropped in mock surprise as Taylor winked at the camera.

"Alright, I'll talk to you later, Trav," Taylor said with a laugh. "Bye!"

"Bye, baby," Travis said softly, his gaze lingering on the screen until the call ended.

(Travis's Perspective)

Patrick turned to him, his eyebrows raised. "So, girlfriend, huh?" He nudged Travis's shoulder playfully.

"Yeah," Travis admitted, his grin widening despite himself.

Patrick wasn't done. "Alright, spill. Who is she, what does she do, and where did you meet her?"

Travis laughed, holding up a hand. "Slow down, man. Her name's Taylor."

Patrick's face suddenly lit up with realization. "Wait a second... wasn't she your doctor?!"

Travis scratched the back of his neck, his cheeks flushing slightly. "Yeah, but it's not like it sounds."

Patrick whistled, shaking his head with an impressed grin. "So you walk into rehab with an injured leg and walk out with a girlfriend? Respect, man. Respect."

Travis laughed, running a hand through his hair. "It's not like I planned this, okay? It just... happened."

Patrick's teasing grin softened into something more genuine. He clapped a hand on Travis's shoulder. "Man, I'm happy for you. You deserve someone who makes you this happy."

Travis smiled, feeling a warmth in his chest. "Thanks, Pat. That means a lot."

Patrick smirked again, though his tone was light. "Now, just wait until Brit hears about this. She's gonna lose her mind."

Travis groaned playfully, already imagining the chaos. "Yeah, I better brace myself."

The two of them shared a laugh before Patrick added, "But seriously, Kelce. You've got that stupid grin plastered on your face now. It's good to see."
