"do you always hide behind your camera, or is it just around me?"
"i don't hide. i just don't waste my time on people who think they're better than everyone else."

THE NIGHT had descended into chaos, but it was the kind of chaos that everyone lived for. The secret party was alive with music, laughter, and a lot of intoxicated dancing. Students, freed from the restraints of the university Freshers' Party, were now fully letting it loose. And in the middle of it, Heeseung and Sunghoon stood like magnets- drawing attention from every corner of the room.
Yeseul couldn't help but notice the way the girls fawned over them. Heeseung, with his cool confidence and effortless charm, seemed completely unfazed by the attention. He greeted people casually, flashing that signature smirk, but it was as if he was looking for something- or someone- else. Sunghoon, on the other hand, kept it more low-key. He was always polite, always friendly, but Yeseul noticed how he seemed slightly on edge tonight, more withdrawn than usual.
Chaerin nudged her with a grin, "Looks like the Heeseung fan club is in full force."
Yeseul chuckled but felt a weird tension in her chest. It was strange, really- how the two brothers commanded attention of the entire room without even trying. She could see it in the way people whispered, the way they followed their every move. And though she wasn't particularly bothered by it before, tonight felt...different.
Maybe it was the dress, or the intensity of the party, or the drinks Chaerin had pushed into her hands. Whatever it was, she felt the pull too- her gaze kept flickering back to Heeseung. But there was something about his brother's reserved demeanor tonight that piqued her curiosity tonight.

Sunghoon watched from the corner of the room as Heeseung leaned against the bar, talking to a group of girls who were clearly enamored by him. He was like that- when he wanted something, and more often than not, he got it. The younger couldn't help but feel a knot of anxiety in his chest.
He didn't want to admit it, but seeing his older brother surrounded by girls who practically threw themselves at him, all while Yeseul was standing nearby, made him uncomfortable. It wasn't just the fact that Heeseung was popular- it was the fact that if he decided he wanted her, he would.
Sunghoon sighed, running a hand through his hair. He had always treated her as a friend, but lately, things had shifted. He found himself thinking about her more, paying closer attention to the little things- the way she smiled when she thought no one was watching, the way her eyes lit up when she was passionate about something. It wasn't that he didn't care for her before, but now....it was different.
But he hadn't made any moves. He hadn't said anything. Part of him didn't know how to, and part of him was worried- what if Heeseung knew? What if he wanted her too?
Across the room, Heeseung's eyes flickered towards her for a split second before returning to the group he was entertaining. Sunghoon noticed it. And for the first time, he felt a pang of jealousy.
