THE NIGHT is cool and quiet as Heeseung and Sunghoon make their way back to their apartment building. Both seemed relaxed, having finished their respective work, chatting casually. The neon lights of the convenience store flicker ahead of them as they pass by.

Sunghoon stretched his arms above his head, letting his muscles loosen. "Man, I thought today would never end. You good, hyung?"

"Yeah. I just wanna get some sleep to end the day," the older said in response.

As they both approached the convenience store to grab some stuff, they both stop abruptly. Yeseul is sitting on the sidewalk, her head resting on her knees, clearly wasted and slumped over. Beside her, Chaerin is much louder, laughing hysterically at something that only she finds funny. They're a chaotic mess right outside the door, and the owner, standing behind the glass door of the store, looks torn between wanting to help them and wishing they'd leave.

"Oh, crap. Isn't that...Yeseul?" Sunghoon's eyes widened as he could figure her slumped over figure.

Heeseung groaned to himself, "No way...".

"Is that Chaerin...the Jung Chaerin from my department?" Sunghoon injected further, the other feminine looked way more hysterical than the latter.

He starts to approach the two wasted feminines, but Heeseung lags behind, his expression showing mild disbelief. The convenience store owner opens the door cautiously, motioning to the two drunk girls.

"Are these your friends? They've been here for a while, and she..., the store owner motions to Yeseul, "...hasn't moved in a bit."

Sunghoon gave a slight bow, "Yeah, sorry about that. We'll take care of them."

The store owner gave him a nod, "Better take these two home quick," he says before he gets back to business inside his store.

Sunghoon glances back at Heeseung, who is standing stiffly behind him, trying to process the scene before him. Sunghoon walks over and crouches down in front of Chaerin, who's giggling uncontrollably. "Chaerin. Hey, can you hear me?" He waves a hand in front of her eyes.

"Oh, Sunghoon! Look, I'm having the best night ever!" She grins up at him with a hiccup leaving her throat.

He laughs and shakes his head, amused by her state. He gently helps her sit up a bit more straight, but she is still too far gone to even care about that right now.

Meanwhile, the older walks over to Yeseul, staring at her for a second before crouching down. He gently taps her shoulder. "Yeseul.....Yeseul? Come on, get up." He lets out a faint sigh while doing so.

She groans out, her eyes barely open, "Mmm.....Heeseung? What're you...doing here? A giggle erupts from her lips. "You're.....you're so....tall...".

Heeseung rolls his eyes, but there's a tiny hint of amusement in his expression. This was definitely not how he expected to end his night. He glances over at Sunghoon, who is still trying to calm Chaerin down.

"Why do I have to deal with this?" He mutters to himself.

Sunghoon raises an eyebrow as he catches the older's comment, but doesn't say anything. Chaerin, on the other hand, suddenly notices Heeseung and Yeseul together, and despite being incredibly drunk, her mind races with excitement. "Oh my god....are you guys on a date?! Yeseulllllllll, you didn't tell me!!" She slurred out loudly.

Heeseung couldn't help but let out a loud groan under his breath, "Please not this now......".

"Nooo....we're not...," she giggles out, "Heeseung hates me...". She's barely conscious as she mumbles out.

Heeseung sighs, trying to get Yeseul to stand up, but she's dead weight. His patience is running thin, but there's an odd softness in the way he keeps trying to support her. The younger brother watches this with a strange interest, amused by the situation his brother's caught up in with his enemy.

"You need help over there, hyung? Looks like Yeseul's had a bit too much." He says over to Heeseung, laughing slightly.

Heeseung grimaces, struggling to help her stand, "You think? I don't know what she was thinking drinking that much....ugh, Yeseul, come on....".

"Heeseung and Yeseul sitting under a tree....K-I-S-S-I-N-G...," Chaerin adds on, singing drunkely.

"Okay, that's enough," Heeseung says, sharply cutting her off.

Chaerin continues to giggle uncontrollably, while Sunghoon finally stands, having managed to Chaerin to sit down calmly, though she's still in her chaotic drunk mode. He glances at Heeseung, who's half-carrying, half-dragging Yeseul towards the nearby bench.

"Well.....this is a situation. Should we get them back to their apartments?" Sunghoon interjects.

"Obviously," the older exasperates.

Yeseul, barely conscious, leans her head against Heeseung's shoulder, her soft voice breaking through the quiet night. "Thanks.. for being nice...even though you don't like me....", she whispers, half-asleep.

Heeseung freezes for a second, thrown off by her words, and his expression softens for just a moment. But then, he shakes his head, brushing it off, choosing not to respond.

It was just drunk words, could've been a mistake.
