"do you always hide behind your camera, or is it just around me?"
"i don't hide. i just don't waste my time on people who think they're better than everyone else."

AS SOON as the professor dismissed the class, Yeseul was out of her seat, grabbing her things and rushing toward the door. She didn't even glance at Heeseung, who was still sitting stiffy in his chair, his jaw tight as he pretended to organize his notes.
Yeseul didn't have the patience to deal with him- or anyone else, for that matter. She could already hear the whispers behind her as she exited the room.
"She's such a heartbreaker."
"Can you believe she's stringing both brothers along?"
"First Heeseung, now Sunghoon... what's her deal?"
Her hands clutched tightly around the strap of her bag as she walked briskly down the hallway. Matching outfits. Rumors. And that post on Chaerin's account? Absolute chaos.
The fake dating arrangement had already caused enough trouble, but now people thought she had the Lee brothers wrapped around her finger. It wasn't the kind of attention she wanted- especially not when she was trying her best to stay as low as possible.
She needed a breather. And a plan.
Yeseul's feet instinctively led her toward the business department building. It was quieter here, the hallways less crowded. She turned around a corner, and relief washed over her when she spotted Sunghoon near the vending machines. He was mid-sentence, talking to a group of classmates, but his gaze flickered to her, and a soft smile crossed his face.
"Yeseul," he greeted warmly.
Before he could say more, she reached out and grabbed his hand, tugging him away from the group.
"Hey, what-" Sunghoon's voice was tinged with confusion as she pulled him along. He stumbled slightly, his long strides quickly matching her pace.
People in the hallway turned to watch them. Whispers started again, but unmistakable.
"Is that Sunghoon?"
"Are they holding hands?"
"See, I told you she's messing with both of them!"
Yeseul's pulse quickened. She was hyper-aware of the eyes on her, the murmurs, the judgement. Her grip on Sunghoon's hand tightened as they reached a quieter area outside the building.
"Yeseul," Sunghoon called softly, his voice grounding.
She halted abruptly and turned to face him. The concern in his eyes was evident as he glanced down at their intertwined hands. Slowly and gently, he brushed his fingers over hers, his thumb tracing soft circles along her skin.
