After Ishaan woke up everything felt so good and light, like this was to happen. I already moved back into dorm and I started my classes. Staaying with Vaishnavi made me realise I wouldn't been able to go through this tough period all alone. It was her and the two other who made it bearable. I was on my way to the hospital to see him as doctor advised him to stay a few more days for some extra checkups.
After reaching the hospital, I parked the car in their parking lot and I remembered the moment where he got impressed by my mere parking. He was such an annoyance back then but if he did that now I would have blushed hard.
Getting inside the hospital, I registered my name and took my walk towards his room. When all of a sudden, three nurses blocked my way and looked at me with mesmerizing eyes.
"You are Aarohi, right?" the first nurse asks.
And that leaves in a confusing shell by how would they know my name. Do they remember everyone by mugging up their names? Is that a task for them? I don't think that might be the case, but if that is the case it's very absurd.
"Yes, I'm..."
"Oh My God! You are so lucky, dear." the youngest nurse exclaimed in happiness. My eyebrows scrunched more in confusion. First they know my name, second they are saying me I'm lucky. Like out of nowhere what is the hell is going on here.
"No! The guy is lucky as well." the middle one protested. And that gave a slight clearance about what they might be talking about. Ishaan and me.
"What do you think I'm luckier?" I asked the youngest one.
"Well, when he was admitted here I assisted him from the ambulance to the OT. And he was constinuously chanting your name while he had somewhat consciousness." she replied with her hands waving off and showing her extra happiness.
And this was the same guy whom I misunderstood. When his life was at danger he was remembering me and I was hating over him.
"And when he was regaining consciousness, he was chanting your name too. Even his father was feeling so overwhelmed." she said in a hurry before someone else stops her. She has to be older than me but her behaviour is a happy child. Her radiance and energy is like a perfect sunshine girl.
And then I shift my attention to the middle one and asked her, "And why do you think he is luckier?"
"Well, given the condition and how doctors couldn't give an answer. Despite of that you still waited." she replied and a smile broke onto my lips.
"Well they are both are equally lucky to have each other." the first one concluded.
Though somewhere in my thoughts I guess it's me who is luckier to have someone who made me realise what love is, who made me pass my insecurities once and for all. It's Ishaan who made me believe in love to a girl who only dreamed about it. So it's me who is luckier.
I smiled at them and walked past to the room where Ishaan was there. The smile on my lips didn't left the lips untill I heard a femining voice from inside the room. And by the voice the only guess I had was of Rhea. It was her voice. What the hell was she doing here? Does she not have any sort of shame? But this time I'm not running away, rather I will show her who he belongs to. Rhea can't get away this time.
