Chapter forty-five
Aarohi Verma
This morning I woke up and realised I have a lot of things to do. I have things to pack, I have some task to do for the team, I have to look after the discharge procedure at the hospital.
After Ishaan asked me to move in with him, all I could feel is nervousness and excitement at the same time. I never lived with anyone other than my parents and Vaishnavi let alone a boyfriend.
Yes, I stayed with him before but now I'm going to live with him. I have no idea how much of a great idea it was to say yes to him.
But as he said that he needs me so I will obviously be there for him.
Taking a quick shower and going through options in my wardrobe which only had few clothes as Vaishnavi packed ninety-nine percent of my clothes, as if I'm never coming back here. She said that there's no point of coming back.
Great!
I took out a sleeveless blur kurti with a straight fit denim jeans. I paired it with earrings and few bangles on one wrist and wristwatch on the other. I wore a normal flats just to keep it simple. I took my tote bag which I have no idea have anything essential.
I walked out of the dorm room and the warden gave me a look which was quite sure of judgement. She looked at me as if I did some crime for not coming to dorm. Well, nothing taken.
I walked up to the basketball court and upon entering I see everyone practicing with full force, and yet it feels empty. Vaishnavi came running and lunged onto me. I took her in a hug and let out a muffled laugh.
"Someone is moving fast." she teased with a smirk and I just rolled my eyes at her.
She told me about the recent works we need to do for the team and I discussed few and how to bifurcate the tasks. When we came to a conclusion I see Rohit coming over to us.
He took Vaishnavi in a hug and kissed her forehead. I had no idea Vaishnavi could be so calm and soft. I knew Rohit was a charmer but Vaishnavi talking all the love in, is a thing to be surprised about.
"Hie, bhabhi!" he exclaimed and I narrowed my eyes in a glare.
I smacked his head and he looked at me dumbfounded with his hand on the back of his head. I threw him a glare and he thinned his lips into smile.
"Stop your teasing, all the time." I threatened him.
He left Vaishnavi and looped his hand around my neck. At first I thought it was just normal but then he pressed it against my throat, hard just to suffocated me. I tried to hit him but he was way too strong for my weak, frivolous punches.
Then Vaishnavi came to my rescue and she hit him hard enough for him to leave me. He basically strangled me and I could technically report him for attempt to murder.
"You know right, I can report you." I said.
"Yeah I can as well!" he exclaimed dramatically.
What? Seriously? What did I even do? I just smacked his head. Maybe my question was fresh enough on my face for him to say, "You took away my right"
"What right?" I retort back.
"My right to call you bhabhi and tease you." he said.
And I was left alone with this dumb headed confession. I joined in hands in a plea and I just gestured that I gave up. He looked at me and laughed like a maniac. Vaishnavi burst into laughter as well and for a moment I felt, Blessed!
