SPECIAL CHAPTER

AIAH'S POV

It's the 23rd of December, and we're hanging out in Mikha's mansion, the same one na tinirahan nila when we were in college.

My friends-Maloi, Stacey, Sheena, and I-are busy preparing food habang nasa living room naman sina Mikha, Colet, Gwen, at Jhoanna, playing CODM.

We decided to bond today since on the 25th, may kaniya-kaniya kaming lakad.

For New Year, we'll be celebrating with our families, kasabay na rin ang pagpapakilala kay Mikha bilang tagapagmana ng kanilang negosyo.

"Ate Aiah, tikman mo nga 'to." Maloi called out.

I looked in her direction.

She was wearing a panda onesie and was busy stirring the recoa.

She grabbed a tablespoon and held it out for me to taste.

We're all wearing onesies tonight-mine is a dog, Stacey's is a cat, Sheena's is a rabbit, Gwen's is a koala, Colet's is a wolf, Jhoanna's is a chick, and Mikha's is a fox.

I walked over to her, tasted the recoa, and nodded.

"Okay na, sakto na 'yong tamis." I said, giving her a thumbs up.

She smiled and turned off the stove.

"Ate Aiah, tikman mo din tong carbonara kung okay na." bebe called out.

I walked over to where she and Stacey were, tasting their cooking as well.

"Parang katulong lagay natin dito habang sila Jhoanna chill na chill sa living room ah." Stacey complained, making us all laugh.

"Para naman hindi mo girlfriend ang pinagluluto mo, Staku." Maloi teased and Stacey just rolled her eyes at her.

Nanahimik naman kami pare-parehas hanggang matapos ang ginagawa namin, kaya ang naririnig lang namin ay ang murahan ng apat sa living room.

"Tawagin mo na sila, Staks. Okay na 'to." Maloi stated at pumalakpak after finishing arranging the food on the table.

Hindi naman umangal si Staks at sumunod din, kaya medyo nagulat pa kaming tatlo.

But we just shrugged it off and sat in our designated seats.

Sabay-sabay naman kaming napatawa when we heard Stacey's voice.

"TARA NA, MGA PALAMUNIN! DINNER IS READY! LALO KA NA, ROBLES, HUWAG KANG MAGPATAWAG NG DALAWA!"

"Kawawa talaga si Ate Jho kay Staku." natatawang sabi ni Sheena.

"Sweet din naman sila minsan, minsan nga lang." Maloi added.

I just smiled at their statement and looked toward the entrance of the dining area when I saw my girlfriend grinning while walking in.

She sat beside me.

"I miss you, bubby." she whispered and stole a kiss on my cheek.

Naramdaman ko naman uminit ang pisngi ko sa ginawa n'ya, lalo na when I heard Sheena and Maloi fake-coughing.

Wala talagang paawat si Mikha Lim.

"You're blushing." Mikha teased, chuckling softly.

"Ang clingy ni Mikha Lim, parang ldr kayo kung maka imissyou ka r'yan, nag luto lang naman kami?" Pang aasar sa kaniya ni Maloi but my girlfriend gave her a bored look.
