Static Shock x Reader

I have loved DC Comics for a very long time, so I really enjoyed writing this Static Shock x Reader.

   STATIC SHOCK'S POV

  The name's Virgil Hawkins, and I loved my job! I got to have special powers, save the innocent, and work with Batman and the Justice League!
  Today was my incarnation for joining the League. It was held at the Hall of Justice, and Batman informed me that he would be my tour guide for the evening.

  How cool was that?

  Batman called me a few minutes later and said,"I am sorry Shock, but that was Superman. I have to go. However, Y/N, will be able to show you around."

  I replied,"It's okay. I'm on my way now."

  About ten minutes later, I made it to the Hall of Justice. Besides from the beautiful structure all around me, my eyes immediately fell on a beautiful, young girl with blue eyes and H/C hair. That beautiful girl was Y/N. Y/N and I first met each other a couple of years ago. She waved me over and offered her hand.

  I shook her hand and joked saying,"Static, but you can call me Virgil."

  Y/N playfully rolled her eyes, but she decided to play along.

  She smiled and laughed saying,"Nice to meet you, Virgil. Let me show you around."

  I followed Y/N into the Hall, and she showed me the kitchen, the media center, some resting spots, and other amazing things that were inside the Hall of Justice. I thanked her for taking her time to do this, but she just nodded.

  I thought,"It must be a Bat-kid thing."

  She just smiled and blushed at me staring at her. I turned away and walked towards the kitchen. I saw Terry and Max, so I smiled and waved to both of them.
  Terry and Max stopped their conversation and waved back.
I, then saw Y/N on the couch, so I ran towards her.

  She was lying down, and her mood had completely changed in a matter of seconds. I could tell something was bothering her...

  I took her chin and said,"What's wrong, Y/N?"

  Y/N looked alarmed at me touching her at first, before she cleared her throat,"I...umm...like someone, and I do not know how to tell them. I would, but they probably would not like me back."

  I squeezed Y/N's hand saying,"They should come to you. You will know when it is the right time. Watch me, I am going to confess to the person I like right now."

  I looked at her and held her face saying,"Y/N, I love you. I know we've always been close friends, but I do have feelings for you. If you cannot return them, then I understand. Just act like I did not say anything."

  Y/N smiled at me and kissed me passionately. I pulled her close. When the kiss ended, Y/N just smiled. However, Batman spotted us and only smirked.

  I walked up to him and said,"You knew that was going to happen. That was why you canceled on being my tour guide. That was why you sent Y/N."

  Batman smiled at me and said,"You'd make a good detective, Virgil, but do not hurt my daughter. She trusts you, and I trust you, so do not lose my trust."

  "Yes, sir."
