Jason Todd x Reader

   Y/N'S POV

  I sat down beside Jason and nudged him saying,"How long have you been here?"

  Jason didn't look at me, but he replied,"I've been here since seven. What about you?"

  I said,"I just got here a few minutes ago, but I'm about to leave. I hate parties."

  Jason asked me,"Then, why are you here?"

  I brushed off his jacket saying,"Brian thought it'd be a good idea to bring me here."

  Jason looked over at me now and said,"He forced you to come here?"

  I smiled at Jason being Jason, but I said,"No, Red, he didn't. I made the decision to come here. I just thought it'd be a good experience for me to have. Why are you here?"

  Jason motioned inside saying,"Nicole wanted to come to see her friends, but I just didn't want her here alone. I've also been having nightmares again about what happened to me."

  I rested my hands on his arm saying,"You still have them, even though it was so long ago?"

  Jason nodded saying,"Yeah, I do. Could you-"

  I said,"I'm staying right here with you. Brian looks like he's having a good time, and Nicole is too. We're going to be here for a while."

  Jason smiled at me, before I said,"How are things at Wayne Manor?"

  Jason said,"I don't know. I don't pay attention."

  I chuckled saying,"Jase, you've got to pay attention."

  Jason pushed my foot, then he looked back saying,"Nicole thinks that me and you are dating secretly."

  I said,"Is that why she's looking at me like she wants to kill me?"

  Jason chuckled saying,"It is, but I wouldn't worry about it. What's this on your side?"

  I tried to move his hand, but he lifted the side of my shirt and saw the large bruise on my side. His eyes widened, before he immediately looked back at Brian.

  He said,"Y/N, you lied to me. You never lie to me."

  I sighed saying,"Jase, I can explain. It only happened once. He just a lot angry."

  Jason pulled me close and said,"And when he lets his anger control him, then it will be much worse. Y/N, you're leaving with me."

  I said,"But-"

  Jason said,"No. I don't care if Nicole likes it or not. I'm not leaving you with him. He could do something else to you. It's probably why he convinced you to come here."

  I looked down, and Brian walked out and said,"Come on, Y/N. I'm ready to go."

  Jason stood to his feet and said,"I'm taking her home."

  Brian laughed and pushed Jason saying,"Todd, this doesn't concern you."

  Jason said,"Yes, it does. Y/N, go get in the car."

  I also noticed Nicole on Brian, and Brian said,"Y/N..."

  I got up, and Brian moved towards me. Jason tackled him and took him down, along with his friends. Before anything else could break out, Jason drove me to his apartment instead.

  I said,"Jason, I thought you were taking me home."

  Jason groaned in pain, before he said,"Brian may show up there. He doesn't know where I live. You'll be okay there."

  ....

  After I took care of Jason's lip, I said,"Thank you for keeping Brian away from me. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about what he did to me."

  Jason took my hand saying,"I understand. It's hard to talk about. Don't apologize. I'm sorry for beating him up."

  I chuckled, but I sent him a grateful smile saying,"Yeah, but he could've done the same thing to me. He was out of it, and I guess I just didn't think about what all could happen at the party or after the party. I'm glad you were there."

  Jason said,"Me, too. I don't think Nicole's going to care that I left her. Did you see-"

  I said,"I did. I guess it wouldn't surprise me if they have been seeing each other. Do you mind if I stay here, at least for a few days?"

  Jason shook his head saying,"No. I'll get Grayson or Drake to get your stuff for you that you may need here with you."

  I kissed his cheek saying,"Thank you, Todd. I owe you."

  "You're welcome, and you don't owe me anything. I did it, because I care about you. I'd do it again if I had to."

   LATER THAT NIGHT...

  As I played on my tablet, I suddenly heard Jason scream. I rushed inside his bedroom, and he was sitting up straight.

  Before I could come towards him, he said,"I'm sorry, Y/N. Did I wake you up?"

  I said,"I was already up. Do you want to be alone?"

  Jason said,"No. There's a chair over there."

  I sat down in the chair and said,"If you need me, Jason, just talk to me. I'll be playing on my tablet."

  Jason laughed, before he nodded saying,"I will, Y/N. Don't stay up too late."

  I said,"Jase, go to sleep. Don't tell me what to do."

  Jason smiled at me, before I smiled back at him.
