Lex Luthor x Reader

This Lex Luthor x Reader is strongly inspired by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!! I warned you.

   Y/N'S POV

  Superman was not a person that the world was very fond of right now. I knew this, because I had to attend a meeting at the Capitol for Superman's hearing. He was being accused for the deaths of all those innocent people from the attack that happened 2 years ago. My boss, Bruce Wayne, just happened to be one of them.
  For some reason, he was not attending the meeting. I shook it off and lightly knocked on Mr. Wayne's door. Mr. Wayne was on the phone, but he motioned for me to come inside. I smiled and quietly made my way inside.

  Mr. Wayne got off the phone and said,"Yes, Y/N?"

  I handed him a file and said,"It is about that favor I asked for. Here it is."

  Bruce looked at me curiously for a minute, before he took the file in his hands and opened it. Bruce's facial expressions changed as he read, and I giggled at how entertaining it was to watch him.

  Bruce laughed at my reaction but said,"What makes you think I can handle this, Y/N?"

  I put my hands on my hips and said,"Because you are Batman, and Batman does not leave a helpless woman in trouble. I would think I meant something to you, Mr. Wayne. Maybe at least to the point of looking into this after I leave. What do you say? PLEASE!!"

  Bruce leaned back in his chair and eventually gave in.

  I squealed in triumph and kissed Bruce's cheek multiple times saying,"Thank you so much, Bruce!! I do not know how to repay you for this. Do not worry, I promise to be here extra early and leave later. I will even-"

  Bruce shook his head and squeezed my shoulder saying,"No need, Y/N. I just want you to be safe at that meeting and be on your best behavior. Understand?"

  I nodded and thanked Bruce again, before I headed off to the hearing at the Capitol. Once I made it inside, I accidentally bumped into someone. I looked up and saw a man standing there. He looked familiar, so I read his tag. The tag stated that he was with LexCorp.

  He held out his hand and said,"Lex Luthor, at your service, madam. You would be?"

  Lex was cute, and I replied,"Y/N L/N. I work for Wayne Enterprises. So, you took over your father's business?"

  Lex nodded and said,"Yes, yes I did. I take it Mr. Wayne could not make it, so you are filling in for him?"

  I would nod, but Bruce just didn't want to come. I didn't blame him, because Bruce was not the best at taking in other people's opinions. Trust me, I have known Mr. Wayne for many years now.
  For some reason, I always called him Mr. Wayne, and then I would call him Bruce two minutes later. Do not ask me why. It was just something I did.

  I was taken out of my thoughts by lips meeting mine. What? Why was Lex kissing me? We just met. Like anyone would do, I kissed Lex back. I was being sarcastic, by the way.

  Lex smirked in the kiss, but I would admit I was upset when the kiss ended.

  He fixed his jacket and sent me a wink saying,"I will see you later, Mrs. L/N. Do not get too beautiful."

  I went to say something, but Lex was gone. I pouted, because I missed his weird behavior already. I just pushed myself into going where the meeting was being held at, but something did not feel right about it. Because of this feeling I had, I became uncomfortable very quickly.

  One of the guards said,"Ma'am, are you all right?"

  "Yes, I am fine. Thank you, though."

  The guard smiled at me, but he did not seem convinced. I walked inside and sat down in my seat. Once the Senator started talking, I realized how intense the atmosphere became. A young woman came onto the stand and talked about how she lost her parents. Immediately, I felt bad for her.

  She looked a lot like my auntie, which I lost in the event of Metropolis, too. Tears formed in my eyes, but I was going to stay strong, knowing my aunt was in a better place.
  Halfway through the meeting, the Senator stopped herself short and repeatedly looked down at her drink. Now, my nerves were really bad. I went to excuse myself, but someone pulled me out of the room.

  It was none other than Lex, who casually returned my gaze.

  He chuckled and kissed my cheek saying,"Mrs. L/N, you have very adorable expressions, which I have always loved in a girl. Do not worry, you will understand why I pulled you out."

  I looked at Lex in confusion, but then an explosion went off. In what seemed like seconds, a good portion of the Capitol was filled with violent flames and smoke. I lost my balance, and Lex immediately grabbed my waist, balancing me.

  He looked at the Capitol and then back at me, saying,"How about dinner? My treat!!"

  I just shrugged and let Lex take my hand. As Lex led me away, I could not help but think of all of those people that were the building.
