Hal Jordan x Reader

   Y/N'S POV

  Superman asked me,"You'll be okay, Y/N?"

  I nodded to him saying,"I will, brother. Thank you. Be careful, Clark."

  Superman hugged me, before he left. I turned to my husband, Hal Jordan, before I rushed into his arms.

  He kissed my forehead and said,"I wish you would let me know when you leave."

  I said,"I'm sorry. I had the nightmare again."

  Hal led me inside our home, before he lied down with me on the couch.

  He asked me,"Which nightmare was it this time?"

  I looked down at Hal's ring as I replied,"The one where Carol tries to kill me and takes you away."

  Hal noticed me looking down at his ring, before he said to me,"Y/N, you're a different woman than you were before, and you've come a long way. I don't hold what you did before against you. I've made mistakes, too. Everyone has."

  I said,"But I still remember all of those mistakes, Hal. It's hard to just act like I never did those things. Plus, these nightmares feel so real. Sometimes, I wake up, and it feels like I've already lost you."

  Hal stroked my cheek as he said,"You'll always remember them, Y/N, but you don't have to make those same mistakes. You haven't, and I'm proud of you. And Y/N, you'll never lose me. You keep having these nightmares, because you let your fears control you."

  I listened to Hal, and I asked him,"Well, how do I not let my fears control me?"

  Hal smiled down at me saying,"By having courage and facing them head on. Y/N, you can't keep ignoring your fears. Eventually, you have to face them."

  I asked him,"Do you think I can do it, Hal?"

  Hal rested his forehead against my own and said,"I know you can do it, Y/N."
