Aquaman x Reader

   Y/N'S POV

  I had been given the honor to live in Atlantis. I was on the King's national guard, ranking number 1 out of everyone. King Arthur looked at me as a best friend, but I thought of him as something more. He would never see me that way. He couldn't possibly have the time for me, with keeping the oceans clear and ruling Atlantis.

  As I made my way down the long, kingdom halls, I heard a soft voice call out to me. I turned around and was greeted by Kaldur or Kaldur'ahm, whom I've come to love as a family member now.

  I immediately smiled and nodded in greeting to Kaldur'ahm, before Kaldur nodded back saying,"It is an honor to see you, Y/N. Tell me, where are you headed?"

  I pointed towards the throne room and replied,"I'm going to see the King. Want to come with?"

  Kaldur chuckled saying,"It would be my pleasure, Y/N. Lead the way.."

  I smiled and, together, Kaldur and I entered King Arthur's throne room. Kaldur left, and it was just the King and I.
  He walked over to me and what he did next was definitely unexpected. King Arthur kissed me. I was so confused, but I wasn't going to push him away. I kissed back and he brought me closer, before I almost lost my balance.

  He caught me and immediately asked me,"Are you all right, Y/N?"

  I nodded and said,"Yes, My King. Where did that come from? Not that I did not enjoy it or anything..."

  My cheeks immediately heated up, before he led me over to the glass.

  He motioned to the dolphins and other sea life saying,"As ruler, you have to learn to take care of everything around you, not just the people and warriors who protect you. You have to have dedication, skills, and-"

  He looked at me and lifted my chin saying,"Beauty. That does not come easily, but it did with you. Ever since I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one to one day rule Atlantis with me. Y/N L/N, will you please do me the honor of being mine?"

  I squealed and attacked him in kisses, before I yelled,"YES, YES, I WOULD LOVE TO!! THIS GIRL IS READY TO FINALLY BE IN CHARGE OF SOMETHING!"
