Conner Kent x Requested Reader

   AVA'S POV

  I was carried through the entrance of the hospital. One word: Darkseid. Let's just say I was lucky to make it out alive. The team held up better than I did, but I was just glad that no one recorded that fight.
  I could barely make out what was going on around me, but I could see my boyfriend, Conner Kent. Conner was known as Superboy, the powerhouse of the team. Conner had his moments, but the team would not be the same without him.

  Conner squeezed my hands saying,"Hang on, babe. You are going to make it."

  I went to say something, but I felt weak and slowly closed my eyes.

   MANY HOURS LATER...

  I opened my eyes and tried to sit up, but the shocks of pain were telling me to stop moving. I winced and slowly laid back down. I looked around and noticed the whole team was in my room. I noticed my mentor, Superman, asleep in the chair beside the bed.
  Superman had basically been the father figure in my life, which was how I met Conner. Conner and I's personalities crashed at first, which was not a good thing. We were at each other's throats for months, before something slipped out of Conner's mouth that I could never forget.

  These three powerful words that end up saving or breaking you,"I love you."

  Ever since that day, I realized just how much I needed Superboy in my life. This very moment as he stood concerned about my well-being proved to me yet again that I was lucky to have him.

  I softly said,"Hey, Kent."

  Conner's face lit up, before he rushed over to my side and placed kisses all over my face. I smiled, because I loved when he did that.

  Conner slowly pulled away and held my face saying,"Ava, are you okay now? Does anything hurt? Are you-"

  I cut Conner off by kissing him passionately. Conner kissed back and rested his hands on my sides. I flinched away and bit my lip from the pain, which caused Conner to frown and quickly apologize. I shook my head and pulled him back in.

  I heard a deep chuckle, followed by Nightwing saying,"Welcome back, Ava. Do not worry about training tonight. We don't want you damaging yourself any further. I will see you tomorrow."

  I nodded and hugged Dick, before he smiled and took his leave. I turned to Conner and rested my hand on his cheek.

  Conner leaned into my touch, but I noticed that look fill his stubborn blue eyes.

  I started off saying,"Conner-"

  Superman woke up, too, before he noticed I was awake. He pulled me in a hug, and I gladly hugged Superman back.

  He kissed my forehead and continued to hug me as he said,"Darling, you scared me. Why didn't you call me or Wonder Woman? Ava, next time, call."

  I giggled, but I smiled up at Superman saying,"Yes, sir."

  Superman brought his attention to Conner and asked him,"Are you all right?"

  Conner nodded and pecked my lips, before he walked out.

  I let out a sigh, before Superman placed his hand on my shoulder saying,"Don't worry, Ava. Conner just blames himself for what happened to you. I do not think he counted on falling this hard for you, which is a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing is: Conner will now have someone to watch over him and comfort him when he needs it. You will be there, won't you, Ava?"

  I nodded and said,"Always, Superman. Do you mind giving me a piggyback ride to Conner, please?"

  Superman chuckled, but he bent over. I smiled and jumped on his back, ignoring the excruciating pain in my body.
  I wrapped my arms around his neck, before Superman flew us through the halls. I squealed so loud, which probably made me look stupid and childish, but I did not care at all.

  Superman flew me out of the hospital, and I said,"Shouldn't I still be at the hospital?"

  Superman said,"I'm taking you to Conner, and then I'll take you back. Okay?"

  I nodded, and Superman took me to where Conner was supposed to be. I jumped down and spotted Conner in the kitchen. I kissed Superman's cheek, before I made my way over to Conner. Conner immediately turned around.

  He calmly said,"Ava, I am fine. Should you not be resting?"

  I nodded, but I wrapped my arms around his neck saying,"I would, but I need my boyfriend there with me. Conner, I cannot go to sleep without you by my side. Please do not blame this all on yourself. It was my choice to go into that building but look at it this way. I am still here with you, right? Conner, there will never be a day where I will not need you. Please, baby, do not stress about this. I love you."

  Conner looked down at me and lifted my chin, before a smile formed on his face saying,"I love you, too. I missed you."

  I blushed madly, which made Conner smirk. I just smiled and pulled him in for a kiss. Conner kissed back and brought me closer. He intertwined his fingers with mine. Unfortunately, something splashed all over my face. I turned to my right, and Malcolm and Dick stood there, trying to look innocent.

  Conner turned to me and said,"Ava, I can handle this."

  I nodded and said,"Thanks, Conner, but don't tear this place apart."

  Conner smiled at me, before he ran after Malcolm and Dick.
