Tim Drake x Tam Fox Part 2

Recap: Tam had trouble waking Tim up for their meeting at Wayne Enterprises, but she eventually gets him up. They share some cute dialogue and then make their way to Wayne Enterprises.

   TIM'S POV

  I decided to grapple to Wayne Enterprises instead of walk. It seemed more efficient to me. I looked down and Tam was holding on to me, so I just smiled down at her. Tam buried her face in my neck.
  In a matter of minutes, we were at Wayne Enterprises and making our way inside. I spotted Lucius talking to Bruce. And when Lucius saw Tam, his face lit up.

  Tam ran towards him and he smiled, embracing his daughter. Tam held on for a couple of seconds before pulling away from her father's embrace.
  Tam also made sure she gave Bruce a hug, as to which he quickly returned her hug. I greeted Lucius and Bruce next, and then Bruce pulled me aside.

  He asked me,"Hey Tim, how are Tam and you doing?"

  "We are great, actually. I was thinking about proposing to her, but I don't know."

  Bruce smiled, but then his face changed. And because I recognized the face he was giving me, my breath started to get a little uneven.

  "Tim, please don't hurt her. If she needs you, be there. Promise me that."

  "I promise, sir."

  He smiled and pulled me in for a hug,"Go get her."

  Then, Bruce decided to push me into Tam.
 
   Tam laughed saying,"Honey, are you all right?"

  "Yeah."

  I stared at her and said,"Tam, I know we have been dating for a while, but I love you more than anything. You're what makes me feel confident, and you're always there when I need someone to lean on. I know you weren't happy about being kidnapped, but I promise to try my hardest to keep you out of harm's way because you're what's important to me. I need you, so Tamara Fox, will you marry me?"

  Tears formed in her eyes, and then she tackled me saying,"Of course I would, Red Robin! I love you, too."

  I smiled and placed the ring onto her finger, holding her close. Bruce whistled and Lucius smiled, tears forming in his eyes. Lucius already knew that Tam was in great hands, but now she was going to marry one of the few people he trusted. I wasn't going to let Lucius or Tam down. I could continue to take care of her. I knew it.
