Aquaman x Mera

   MERA'S POV

  Right now, I was on my way to meet my husband for a meeting. I was walking down the hallway, when I bumped into Kaldur'ahm. I quickly apologized to him.

  He chuckled and bowed saying,"My apologies, My Queen."

  I smiled and kindly said,"Kaldur, do not be so formal, okay? You are practically family, my dear."

  He smiled and walked off to find Tula. Kaldur and Tula were very close, but I was beginning to think she was already in love with someone else. I felt bad for Kaldur'ahm, because he loved her. I only hoped that Kaldur wouldn't end up hurt by Tula. If Kaldur'ahm really wanted Tula, then I would look out for him.
  I walked towards the throne and greeted the guards. I gave them a break, because they deserved it. They had families, too.

  When I spotted Arthur, he appeared to be very stressed. He had a habit of worrying too much, but maybe I could do something to relieve his stress a little. With that, I rubbed his shoulders.

  He leaned into my touch, and I smiled saying,"Is this taking the stress away?"

  He nodded and said,"I was worried about you, actually."

  I looked at him confused and said,"Why, my dear?"

  Arthur pulled me into his lap and held my face saying,"I worry about you because you have such a strong heart. I am concerned that you will fall for someone else, Mera. You're rare to find."

  I rested my hands over Arthur's hands and said,"You're rare to find, too, Arthur, and I am honored to be your wife. Don't be worried. I'm not going anywhere. Atlantis is our home."
