Harley Quinn x Best Friend Reader

Sidenote: I know this has nothing to do with DC Comics, but did anyone see Star Wars: The Force Awakens!! It's been out for a while, but still it was really good!!! Now, I'm getting sidetracked!! Sorry, as usual, just stay tuned for more of your favorite characters!

Info: Imagine Harley coming to you for advice and guidance on something.

   Y/N'S POV

  Right now, I was on my way to meet one of my closest friends. Her name was Harleen Quinzel, but she mostly went by Harley Quinn. Harley and I sort of grew up together. I lost contact with her for a few years, but I never understand why until I heard about the incident at Arkham. Harley had been telling me about her attraction to one of the patients, but I thought he was just some regular criminal or something.
  Boy, was I wrong. I did not know then, but she was talking about the Joker. At first, that scared me. Harley was attracted to a...a...I didn't know what to call Joker, really. I soon realized that there was nothing I could do to change her mind, because it would just break us further apart from each other.

  Harley planted the idea in her head that Joker cared about her and loved her. I still did not see it, because the only two things he needed her for was to cause distractions and to take the fall when he felt like running away.
  I ran my fingers through my hair, before I arrived at the Steel Mill. This place creeped me out, but my best friend needed me.

  I took a deep breath, before I make my way inside. The henchmen eyed me, but a certain hero may have handled that. Yeah, I asked Bruce to watch my back. Bruce did not approve of me coming here, but Bruce also did not want to argue with me. I did not blame him, because arguing was something I could do with someone all day.

  I made it inside, before I used my comms saying,"I am all right, Bruce. You can go. Batman.."

  I smiled, when I saw Bruce finally leave. Aww, he was worried about me, how cute.

  Joker spotted me and smiled saying,"Y/N, how great to see you, darling!!!"

  I nodded and said,"You too, Joker. Is Harley around here?"

  Joker yelled,"HARLEY?!"

  I heard Harley yell,"COMING, MISTA J!!"

  Harley walked in, before she spotted me.

  She gave me a smile and said,"Mr. J, would you give us a minute? Please, Puddin.."

  Joker looked at me, before he walked out. Wow, that was unexpected. Harley motioned for me to sit beside her, so I did.

  I took her hand and said,"What do you need, Harls?"

  Harley looked down and said,"I just have been feeling pretty exhausted lately."

  I nodded and said,"That's because you spend most of your time in this place. Harley?"

  Harley looked at me, before I said,"Do you miss spending time together? Is that what all of this is about?"

  Harley nodded and said,"Yes, I do, but I understand if you're too busy. In a way, we're on different sides of fighting for what is right."

  I squeezed Harley's hand and said,"It is not too late to change that, Harls. I could help you, because I know you are better than this. You can start a new life, and I will be with you. What do you say?"

  Harley sighed and said,"I do not know about that, Y/N. Mr. J would not like that."

  I smirked and said,"I got this covered. Go get in the car, Harls."

  Harley smiled and kissed my cheek, before she got into the car. I took a deep breath and walked back inside.

  Joker walked up to me and said,"Darling, where is Harley?"

  I calmly said,"She is outside waiting for me to drop her off."

  Joker seemed to be getting upset, in a very bad way, and said,"Why is she leaving? I did not tell her to leave?!!"

  I narrowed my eyes at Joker and said,"Harley is not your assistant, all right? She may be very confused and continuously acts as your assistant, but she is not. Harley's her own person, and she needs to finally wake up and realize that you do not really care about her. I am just knocking some sense into her, before I lose the chance to later on!!"

  Joker grabbed my wrists and said,"Batsy may like you, but that does not mean I have to!! How do you think Bats will feel if he heard his poor, little girlfriend got killed?"

  I started to regret saying anything to him, but I was determined to set Harley free from him. She needed to learn that she could stand up for herself and find a guy that actually wanted her for who she was and is.

  Joker grabbed me, before I gasped for air.

  He stuck his knife through my stomach while chuckling saying,"Tell Batsy I said I miss him!!"

  Joker let go of me, before I fell to the ground. Harley was outside, so I needed a way to contact her. I crawled across the floor, before I pressed the button on my phone. Luckily, Harley came rushing into the room, before she carried me to the car.
  I laid down across the backseat, before I held my stomach. I told Harley where to go, but I felt myself having trouble staying awake.

  Harley panicked and said,"Where do I go in?"

  I weakly said,"T-The back. T-Trust me, they will know..."

  Harley was confused on whom I meant by "they," yet I couldn't stay awake any longer.

   HOURS LATER.....

  I woke up to being on a medical bed. I went to sit up, but I immediately groaned in pain.

  Batman gently pushed me back down and said,"Easy, darling. You are okay."

  Batman gave me a kiss, and I knew he was worried about me. I smiled weakly at him, before Harley pulled me in for a hug.

  I hugged back and said,"I missed you too, Harls. Are you okay?"

  Harley had tears in her eyes, but she smiled weakly saying,"I am so glad you are okay!! Y/N, thank ya, I heard what ya said about about me."

  I smiled and said,"So, you wanna start fresh and try to move on?"

  Harley nodded and took my hand saying,"Yes, I wanna. Love ya, Y/N."

  I said,"Love you, too, Harls."

  I turned to Bruce and said,"Maybe I should explain all of this, huh?"

  Bruce nodded immediately, and I filled him in on the whole story. Bruce was a little worried and hesitant about having Harley here, but he eventually came around to trusting her.
