Damian Wayne x Reader

Hey, I just wanted to say that I appreciated everyone's comments on the Jason Todd x Reader!! It's nice to know that even during my lowest moments, you all are still supportive of me and my work! I hope everyone continues to stick with me through everything.

   Y/N'S POV

  I was laying down across the sofa and talking to Dick. Dick was trying to lighten up the mood by telling me jokes; however, I did not get his jokes at all. Yet, I was okay with being confused if it meant seeing Dick this happy.

  Dick changed the topic and smirked saying,"So, what is going on with you and Dami? Is there love in the air?"

  I immediately blushed and groaned saying,"Stop doing that, Grayson!! Okay, maybe I like him, but he would never like me back."

  I looked out the window, and I watched Damian walk around outside with Titus. It was like Damian heard what I said, because he stopped dead in his tracks and turned towards me. I gulped and only hoped that he did not hear what I said. Titus ran inside the Manor and jumped on my lap.

  I smiled, playing with him. Damian walked inside and over to me. Then, he smiled down at me.

  I shyly smiled back, before he said,"Would you join me, L/N?"

  Damian held out hands, while Dick sat on the sofa smirking saying,"Ooo, I see you, Dami."

  Damian rolled his eyes and scoffed yelling,"SHUT UP, GRAYSON!! IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!! Y/N?"

  Whenever Damian said my name, butterflies filled my stomach. I blushed, but I put my hand in Damian's.
  Damian smiled so big, before he led me outside. Titus stood next to the door, and I giggled. I crouched down and kissed his cheek.

  Titus barked loudly, and Damian chuckled saying,"C'mon, boy. See, I told you women appreciate that."

  I smirked and rested my hand on Damian's face saying,"Aww, Dami. You taught Titus that?"

  Damian cleared his throat, which made me smile.

  Damian nodded and said,"Yes, I did. I may not understand every woman, but I understand you. I know things have been rough lately, but I know what you are thinking. You are thinking you could not possible deserve any of this, but you are perfect. You mean the world to me, L/N. You do."

  Tears formed in my eyes, because I have waited years for Damian to say that to me. I knew he was not one to talk about everything at once, so it took time for him to get stuff like this out.
  Now, here we were, and Damian had actually told me how he felt. Damian hesitated at first, but he intertwined his fingers with mine.

  The motion seemed foreign to him, but I squeezed his hands to let him know that I felt the same. Damian let out a sigh of relief, and I motioned for him to go on.

  Damian looked into my eyes saying,"Y/N, I am sorry if it annoys you if I call you by your last name, but it is what I have always done. I am new to this, but I want to be the guy who you love and want to be with. I guess what I'm saying is: Will you be my girlfriend, Y/N? TITUS!!"

  I felt someone pushing on my leg, and I looked back to see Titus holding a box in his mouth. He nuzzled his nose against my leg, while I smiled rubbing his head slowly.
  I almost did not even notice Damian sticking a ring on my finger. I looked down, and tears poured down my face.

  Damian cupped my face and smiled down at me saying,"You may know what this is already, but I would like to tell you what it is. L/N, let me."

  I giggled, which caused Damian to smile at me.

  He kissed my forehead and held my hands up to his face saying,"I informed your father first, but this is a purity ring that I bought just to show you how serious I am about being with you. I know your past lovers have taken advantage of you, but I would never hurt you on purpose. You are so kind and smart. I need you in my life. I want to cherish all the moments we spend together, because I...I..."

  Tears were already pouring down my face, but I needed him to tell me those three words. Those words that have been constantly replaying in my dreams every night and moment I am with him or apart from him.

  Damian squeezed my hands saying,"I love you."

  Damian leaned in and kissed me passionately. I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck. Damian leaned in so much that I ended up losing my balance and bringing him down with me.

  Damian chuckled and pulled away saying,"L/N, were you really enjoying our kiss? I did."

  I blushed and stroked Damian's cheek slowly saying,"You really mean that?"

  Damian nodded and leaned back in. I smiled and kissed back. Damian went to pull away, but I squeezed his sides.
  From the corner of my eye, I saw Titus coming forward with his water bowl. I giggled in the kiss, which made Damian confused.

  Titus ran up to Damian and I and dumped his water bowl on Damian. I laughed so hard at Damian's facial expression, while he sat up irritated and upset.

  He yelled,"TITUS!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!"

  Titus just spun around in circles and walked over to me. He snuggled into me, before I kissed Damian's cheek.

  Damian relaxed and kissed my cheek saying,"I love you, Y/N."

  I ruffled his hair and said,"I love you, too, Damian. No matter how rude you were to Titus just then."
