Impulse x Reader

   BART'S POV

  Right now, I was running through the halls of Mount Justice and trying to find Y/N. She had been gone for too long, and I needed to find her. I sharply turned the corner and stopped when I spotted Y/N talking to Artemis and Wonder Girl.
  I dashed over to Y/N, and Artemis motioned to me. Y/N quickly turned towards me, and her smile immediately grew.

  I smiled back and said,"Now, where have you been all morning? Do not tell Blue I stole these."

  Y/N laughed and tackled me in a hug. I laughed, too, and hugged Y/N back, before I gently placed her down on the ground.

   Y/N'S POV

  After Bart put me down, I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled saying,"What made you come back? Aren't you supposed to be spending time with your new family here? I mean, you are stuck here now."

  "But I wanted to spend time with you, because we do not do it enough. Is that a problem that I want to spend my time with the most beautiful girl in the world!!"

  I smiled at Bart's words, but I playfully acted like I was going to faint.

  Bart handed me flowers saying,"Oh, I almost forgot!! These are for you!! I thought you might like them. Babe, what's wrong? You don't like them? I can-"

  I showered him with sweet kisses, and Bart no longer looked concerned.

  I punched his shoulder and smelt my flowers saying,"No, Bart, I love them!! Thanks, I was just really touched by your words. No guy has ever made me feel this way before, and I actually love you."

  Bart put a hand over his heart and chuckled saying,"I love you, too, Princess. Shall we?"

  Bart held out his arms, and I nodded. I wrapped my arms around Bart's neck, before he sped off and ran us back to his place.
  I almost lost my balance at the stop, but I thankfully caught myself and saved myself from embarrassment. Bart held in a laugh, and I rolled my eyes walking towards his front door.

  Bart held the door open for me, but I refused to go in without him by my side.

  Bart playfully rolled his eyes and chuckled saying,"In my era, this is considered being a gentleman. This is where the beautiful girl walks through and compliments the handsome man for his good deed."

  I giggled and kissed Bart's cheek saying,"Thanks for holding the door for me, Impulse. You are such a great guy."

  Bart blushed, and I smiled pulling him inside. I went to ask him something, but Bart got distracted and dashed into the kitchen. He was probably trying to see if Blue left anything the last time he was here. Bart was weird sometimes, but I loved him the more for it.
 
  Bart went to kiss me, but I noticed a familiar look in his eyes.

  Bart pulled away and held my chin saying,"I am sorry, Y/N, but I need to do something. I will be right back!!"

  I sighed and gave him a kiss, before Bart dashed off. I sat down on the sofa and waited for Bart to get back. It only took a few seconds. Clearly, I was forgetful of how fast Bart was. Bart laughed at my face, and I threw the closest thing to me at him.
  Bart dodged it, while I giggled at his desperation to avoid the pillow. I looked down and noticed he was holding chocolates and more flowers. I immediately smiled and attacked Bart in kisses again, which I never grew tired of doing.

  "I did not think you would remember!! Aww, I love you so much!!"

  Bart shrugged it off and smiled down at me saying,"I just wanted to make you feel special, since I know that jerk didn't. Y/N, I love you."

  I smiled back and wrapped my arms around Bart's neck saying,"I love you, too, Bart Allen. I love you, too. Impulse?"

  Bart hmmed and looked down at me saying,"Yes, baby?"

  I cupped Bart's face and stroked his cheek saying,"I know Wally's incident could not have been easy, but I miss him, too. He was the big brother I never had, and I know he cared about you. You deserve to wear that costume, and Wally would be proud. Do not doubt yourself, okay? You will always have my support and that is all that matters. My opinion is all that matters...to you."

  Tears poured down Bart's face, but he laughed through his tears and put his forehead on mine.

  I wiped his tears and kissed both of his cheeks saying,"Shhh, everything will be okay. Snacks and a movie?"

  Bart's face lit up and he picked me up bridal style, before he dashed us up the stairs and over to the couch.

  Bart gently put me down, before Bart turned to me asking,"What do you want to look at?"

  I thought about it and squealed yelling," THE JUNGLE BOOK!!"

  Bart chuckled, but he nodded and put it in. I smiled at Bart, while I snuggled into him.

  Bart kissed my hand and said,"Thank you, Y/N."

  "No problem, Impulse. No problem."
