The days passed, and Ada found himself falling harder for Rhythm. He didn't know what had changed, but Rhythm seemed so different—so much warmer and open.

Sunoo grinned widely as he reviewed the list they had made years ago. He sat across from Ada at the cafeteria and check the list Sunoo have since diary of Ada is still nowhere to be found.

"Can you believe it? You've already ticked off most of these!" Sunoo exclaimed, shaking the notebook for emphasis.

Ada's eyes widened as he glanced at the list. He hadn't realized how much had changed between him and Rhythm until now. Even the idea of Rhythm's ice-cold demeanor melting was a surprise.

"I didn't even think we'd get this far," Ada admitted, a shy smile tugging at his lips.

Sunoo raised a brow, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Well, let's check off number eight since it's obvious he's your date now, even if you two haven't officially said it."

Ada nodded reluctantly, pushing his food around his plate. It had been a while since he and Sunoo had time to talk like this. Rhythm barely let Ada out of his sight these days, which Sunoo found both amusing and suspicious.

"So," Sunoo began, leaning closer, "what if we test number nine? You know, make him jealous—to see if what he's saying is real or if he just sees you as a friend?"

Ada immediately shook his head. "No. I don't want to do that, Sunoo. I don't want to ruin things between us." "Relax," Sunoo said with a wink. "I'll handle everything. I mean, it's not like he already likes me being around you anyway. I've seen the way he glares at me."

Ada sighed, knowing Sunoo's meddling was inevitable. "Please don't make it worse, Sunoo."

"I promise I'll be subtle," Sunoo said, grinning mischievously. "Trust me, this is going to be fun!" Despite Ada's protests, he couldn't help but feel a small pang of curiosity. Would Rhythm actually get jealous? And if he did, what would that mean for them?




Ada's POV:

I should have known better than to trust Sunoo when he said he'd be "subtle." The following day, his plan went into action, and I was left regretting every moment I hadn't protested harder.

It started during lunch. Rhythm and I had just sat down at our usual table when Sunoo appeared, balancing a tray of food and flashing his usual bright smile. He slid into the seat next to me, completely ignoring the icy glare Rhythm shot in his direction.

"Hey, Ada," Sunoo chirped, leaning a little too close for comfort. "You forgot your pen in the registrar's office yesterday, so I brought it for you." He reached into his pocket and handed me the pen with a dramatic flourish.

"Oh, thanks," I said, feeling awkward under Rhythm's intense gaze.

"No problem!" Sunoo grinned, clearly enjoying the tension. "You know I always have your back."

Rhythm's jaw tightened. "He has me for that," he said coolly, his voice cutting through the air like a blade.

Sunoo feigned innocence. "Of course, Rhythm. But you know how it is—I've been helping Ada out since day one." He leaned closer to me again, as if to emphasize his point. "And of course, I know that you are just pretending to be engaged right? He's my best friend too. I got to know him earlier than you, so I also have a right to him." I swallowed nervously, glancing at Rhythm, who was gripping his fork so tightly I thought it might snap in half.
