Ada's POV:

I can't stay angry with him for long.Honestly, I was hurt by what happened. It was like he was just playing with my feelings.Taken for granted. Everything he did was based on what I wanted to happen. But for the past 1 week, I couldn't deny it but I saw how sincere he was.I'm fragile when it comes to him and I don't want to prolong it. If I knew to myself that no matter what he did, I would still love him. I know Rhythm, it's not that long but I know he hates attention but he manages to get everyone's attention because of me. He made an effort to do what was on my list. And I appreciate that.Because if anyone else picked up my notebook, they would surely embarrass me or ignore it, but Rhythm was different. He did all that. But his feeling. I don't know if that's true.

"Baby?" I looked at him and smiled. He hugged me even though there were many people. See. The Rhythm I knew wouldn't be like this in front of many people. The Rhythm I know is cold, rude, and indifferent to those around him. But now, we are almost inseparable. I mean, he. He hardly ever leaves my side. It's like he just depends on me.

We were in the canteen eating. I know he doesn't like crowds. But he agrees because I want it. He could have not come but he chose to come with me. Him and Sunoo became close for I don't know when or why. I'm not jealous because I know if my best friend has a boyfriend and him and Rhythm are impossible. And I don't have the right to be jealous either. Even though Rhythm has said he loves me several times, and we're just on the same page, maybe I deserve a formal courtship?

"Is there a problem? Are you not feeling well?" And he touched my forehead and his forehead to compare the temperature.

"I'm fine, Rhy."

"Still Rhy?" He said pouting. I didn't say anything. I didn't know what to say. It's like I'm afraid to take a risk. I don't know if what he's showing is true. Or he just acting.

"Ah..." Then he held my hand.

"It's okay, Lai. I can't blame you. And like I said, I will do everything to show you that my feelings are true. I'll wait for you to trust me again. Hmmm."

"I'm sorry."

"No, it's okay. I understand you. Come here." And he hugged me. "Thank you for letting me feel this way. I'm so happy and lucky to have you. Please let me stay with you and let me love you." He smiled at me. And I couldn't help but be thrilled by what he said. Is this real? All of this? Am I dreaming? Because if so, I don't want to wake up.

I was at Rhythm's house earlier. I didn't have anything else to do, so I agreed when he asked me to come over. The moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Mommy Gulf, holding A 3 months old baby Tyronne in his arms.

"Oh, Ada! It's so nice to see you again," Mommy Gulf said, smiling brightly. His radiant energy was contagious, and I couldn't help but smile back. Baby Tyronne was sound asleep, his tiny face serene and peaceful. "Finally that you're here again. I always tell Rhythm to always bring you here." We all sat in the living room, and Rhythm excused himself to grab us some drinks. I stayed, sitting across from Mommy Gulf, who was gently rocking Tyronne in her arms.

"Ada," he began, his tone soft but serious. "I wanted to talk to you about Rhythm."

I blinked, unsure of where this was going, but nodded for him to continue.

"I just want to thank you for always being by his side," she said, her eyes warm with gratitude. "Rhythm... he's not as open or friendly as his brothers, Kyle and Ceidence. He's always been a bit more reserved, keeping to himself. Seeing him so happy and full of life these days—well, I know it's because of you."

His words caught me off guard, and I felt a blush creeping up my cheeks. "I... I don't think I've done anything special, Mommy Gulf," I said softly.
