The ride home was quiet. Ada leaned his head against the car window, clearly exhausted, and I kept glancing at him every few seconds. By the time we reached the condo, I'd already decided—I wasn't letting him lift a finger tonight.

As soon as we stepped inside, I dropped his bag on the couch and tugged him toward the bedroom.

"Sit," I ordered gently, guiding him to the edge of the bed.

Ada raised an eyebrow at me. "Bossy."

I crouched in front of him, taking his shoes off one by one. "Tired," I corrected. "You're tired, so I'll do everything."

He watched me for a moment, his lips curving into a faint smile. "You're acting guilty."

I looked up at him, caught. "Maybe I am. I shouldn't have snapped in class. I just... I hated seeing her lean that close to you."

Ada sighed, but his eyes softened. "Rhythm, it was nothing. You know that, right?"

"I know," I admitted, resting my chin briefly on his knee. "But I don't like it. I can't stand the idea of anyone else being that close to you."

Ada chuckled, reaching down to brush his fingers through my hair. "You're too jealous. It's ridiculous sometimes."

I smirked. "And yet you love me."

He rolled his eyes, but there was color on his cheeks. "Yeah. I love my ridiculously jealous, naughty baby."

That made me grin wider than I wanted to. I stood, leaning closer until our noses almost touched. "Say it again."

"Rhythm..." he warned, laughing under his breath.

"Say it," I whispered, teasing.

Ada shook his head and lightly pinched my nose. "No more. You've had enough for today. I need rest."

I pretended to pout, but the truth was, I was relieved he wasn't pushing me away. I kissed his forehead softly. "Fine. Shower. Now," I ordered.

Ada frowned, tired eyes narrowing. "And you?"

"I'll cook," I said simply.

He blinked at me, like he wasn't sure if I was serious. "You? Cook?"

I placed my hands on my hips. "Yes. Don't underestimate me. Now move before I drag you there myself."

Ada groaned but gave in, trudging toward the bathroom. By the time I heard the water running, I was already in the kitchen, pulling out ingredients. Cooking wasn't something I did often, but tonight... it felt right. He needed me.

After almost an hour, I finished preparing a light dinner—soup, rice, and a few side dishes. I wiped my hands on a towel, feeling oddly proud.
