Finn went home that day, with the strangest feeling he had ever experienced in his stomach. He looked down at the floor as he walked, instead of his usual confident strut. He lost her.
Well, perhaps it had all been too good to be true in the first place.
Nightmare Girl and Nightmare Boy were his idols, they still were. Finn remembered seeing them run by once from his bedroom window, working together, and had been a fan ever since. He had never expected for Nightmare Girl to agree to a date, and to stay over at his home.
Finn had hoped that it would work out. The whole dating her sort of thing. It fell apart so quickly, and he was not even sure how he should be reacting. He liked her a lot, but there had always been a barrier between them. For example, Finn had no idea what her real name even was.
He was slightly angered that she had not really given him a proper chance.
Finn touched the gun in his pocket. He felt something evil and sinister bubble up within his body system, and clenched his fists. He closed his eyes.
Nightmare Girl destroyed all of his dreams. And the entire clan would pay.

Sam was bustling around in the gambling den again, when Finn walked in, on time as usual. He shuffled a deck of poker cards in his hands, staring down at his own old pair of shoes. Sam was tempted to say something to him, but kept his mouth shit instead.
" Sam, hey," Finn suddenly said, putting the shuffled deck of cards back on the table.
The employer turned around, adjusting his sunglasses as he did so. He waited for a while, as the silence drew out between them, all this while with Finn unable to speak a word. Sam was starting to lose patience with this guy.
Alex and Elle were legendary, in this part of town. The youngest assassins to run the world. Even Sam had only started killing at age six. All along, rumours had been floating around that Nightmare Pair was married to one another, or something around like that.
And there was only one reason for that.
Anyone who had seen or witnessed them kill before, might have said the same. If Sam had not seen them in action himself, he would not have dared to believe that the two of them were not in a romantic relationship.
But still.
The compatibility of those two had existed in basically forever. It was as if fate was pulling a blessing by making them know and trust one another.
" Did Alex tell Elle how much she meant to him already? Is he treating her well?" Finn questioned.
Sam sighed, sitting down behind a poker table, hands immediately shuffling cards. He stopped and ran a hand through his quiff.
" Alex and her are together I guess? They don't exactly make themselves official. Doing so would be dangerous to start with," Sam informed Finn," You should be glad the British did not take you away if they noticed that you were with a famous Assassin."
Finn nodded, acknowledging Sam's words. Sam analysed the young man carefully. He looked nervous, and afraid. Sam wondered if something was up, but he dare not pry. If something was wrong, asking may not be the best decision. Finding it out for yourself was best.
" Take poker table 12, Finn, " Sam said, seeing men entering with money in their hands, all ready to gamble it all away in a game or two.
Finn nodded, then turned around, quickly dismissing himself and sitting down at the table. Sam stared at the young man a while longer. He reached out, and purposely dropped a packet of card off the wooden table.
