Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
"What's the point? We never did anything to you. Now let her go," Sophie said, angry but also cold and warning, but at that moment one of the men hit Sophie on the head with the gun, which caused Sophie to fall to the ground fell. Sophie looked up slightly, her search was blurred, but she couldn't guide herself because the guy had stupidly hit exactly the spot where Sophie's head wound was before and since it had mostly healed but was still very sensitive when touched, this led to this Sophie's vision became blurry. The last thing Sophie knew was that she was being taken to one of the wagons, but it was locked. But Sophie became unconscious after a few moments.
Now:
When Sophie came to at some point she saw through a crack that it had apparently already become light outside. "Holy shit," Sophie muttered as she held the back of her head. Sophie then sat down as she lay in the wagon until the wagon was opened after a few minutes and Sophie was led inside by two of these men into a kind of cell. Sophie then turned around as she saw the cell hanging on Sophie being closed. "Sophie" Rosita suddenly said when she noticed that Sophie was there too. "Mom?" Sophie said it in confusion while Rosita immediately hugged Sophie. "Are you okay?" Rosita asked worriedly as she checked Sophie for any injuries. "I'm okay mom, just a headache," was Sophie's answer, whereupon Rosita looked at the wound. "Is everything else good?" Rosita asked worriedly, to which Sophie nodded in confirmation. "Here" came gently from Rosita when, after a few minutes, she gave Sophie one of the bowls that were on the table because the guys were giving the others something to eat but had also put a bowl out for Sophie. "What is that?" Sophie then asked in a skeptical tone when she saw the bowl. "Don't worry, you can eat it. It's not poisoned," Yumiko said in a gentle but serious tone, whereupon Sophie looked at Yumiko. "Secure?" Sophie asked, still skeptical. "Promise," Yumiko said with a smile. Sophie then ate some of the food that was in the bowl. A lot happened in the next few hours. Sophie and Yumiko were taken to a kind of infirmary and cared for there. The others were put back in the wagon while Eugene was taken to some kind of office where he had a conversation with two people. One of them was wearing some kind of orange protective clothing and the other was wearing more normal clothes. At some point Eugene was brought to the algon where the others were already after everyone had hugged each other. Eugene took the floor after Sophie of course was the first to free herself from the hug, which made most of us smile. "Where have you been?" Eugene then asked confused as he saw Eziekel who then turned his attention to Eugene. "In a hospital ward, a nurse had me inhale, gave me some herbal cough syrup and then I fell asleep," came Eziekiel's usual tone while smiling at Eugene. "They mixed something in there?" Eugene immediately asked worriedly, whereupon Yumiko started laughing and Eziekiels but Eugene was able to calm down immediately. "What? No, no, don't worry. They just took the lamp with them and I fell asleep," Eziekel said with a smile. "The same goes for Sophie too," Yumiko said with a laugh as she pointed to Sophie, who was leaning against the chair. "Shut up," Sophie then mumbled, whereupon Yumiko, Eziekel and Rosita laughed. "But back to the topic, the nurses looked after me, brought Yumiko with them and then we were allowed to go to Orincces and then we picked up Sophie before we finally came back here. Eugene then nodded because it made a little sense but somehow also didn't make any sense. "But luckily you're fine," Sophie suddenly said, whereupon Eugene smiled. Just as Eugene was about to say something the walgon opened and eziekel,rosita,Eugene,yumiko,princess and Sophie watched as the walgon opened. A larger man wearing orange protective clothing came in and gave the group a piece of paper. When he was finished he looked at the group. "If you go through this door you will be guided by a patrol cop," the man explained in a calm but gentle tone as he looked at everyone while Eziekiel looked at him a little skeptically. "How do we know you don't mean us any harm?" Sophie then asked skeptically, whereupon the man smiled slightly. "Believe me, little ones, if we wanted to do something to you, we would definitely have done it already," the man replied with a smile, but Sophie still remained skeptical. "Welcome to Commonwealth" came from the man again, but this time he was looking at the group. Shortly afterwards, the man knocked on the wall of the wagon and a woman with light hair, light clothing and glasses entered. "Which one of you is Eugene?" The woman asked cautiously as she looked at the group. After Yumiko, Eziekel, and Princess then looked at Eugene, Eugene then carefully raised his hand, whereupon the others looked back at the woman who then spoke up again. "Hi, I'm Stephanie," the woman said softly while she now had a smile on her face. Eugene was now smiling too but he had more of a nervous smile but at the same time he couldn't believe his eyes. He had found her. The Stephanie he was looking for suddenly appeared in front of him.
