Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
"Hi, I'm Stephanie," the woman said softly while she now had a smile on her face. Eugene was now smiling too but he had more of a nervous smile but at the same time he couldn't believe his eyes. He had found her. The Stephanie he was looking for suddenly appeared in front of him.
Now:
Shortly afterwards the group was taken by the man in the orange protective clothing into a room where they were shown a video about the "commonwealth community" on a monitor and when the video was over the television went off. Everyone was then given a small envelope. "Eugene porter, position in the high school teaching staff, accommodation: bungalow 13, sector 1" Eugene then read, confused, what was written on his note. "That's a good sign," Princess said with a grin when she saw that there was some money in her envelope. "What do these forms mean?" Eugene asked confused after he raised his hand with the piece of paper and then stood up. "Job and accommodation" came the answer from one of the men who remained in the room, but these men were wearing normal clothing. "But we didn't plan on staying permanently," Eugene replied, confused. "If there is a problem, please report it to the work manager," the man replied before walking away. Afterwards, Eziekel and Princess exchange ideas about what jobs they had. "Sophie, what does it say?" Princess dsnn asked curiously as she looked at Sophie. "You must have something completely different, you're still a child," Eziekel said thoughtfully but still with a smile. "Mom?" Sophie then asked again in a cold tone, whereupon Rosita took a look at Sophie's sheet. "High school student and we will be in the same bungalow" Rosita read while summing up the second thing. Rosita then noticed the questioning look from Princess as Princess was confused that Rosita had read it and not Sophie herself. "It all started before Sophie started school, which means she didn't learn to read" Rosita answered seriously while looking at Princess but Princess nodded as a sign that she understood. Afterwards the group discussed what they should do now. Eziekiel wanted to talk to the work manager while Eugene said that Stephanie wanted to show him around and Yumiko should go somewhere because someone wanted to talk to her. Rosita and Sophie weren't sure what to do now. There was a moment of silence. "Michael..." Sophie then mumbled. "Damn Micheal is still in Alexandria..." Rosita finished Sophie's sentence, so to speak. The others also cursed when they realized he was still at home. "I'll get him," Rosita said decisively after she had thought for a moment. "But we don't know if it's safe here," Sophie said thoughtfully after she thought again. "I got it," Yumiko said after a few minutes, whereupon the group looked at Yumiko. "Go ahead with the plan" came from eziekel. "So Rosita talks to the person who is responsible for whether we are allowed to leave this place or not and then says that she has to go back for a while because she has a child somewhere else, Micheal is just her stepson or something but they don't know that and so Rosita could stay in Alexandria while we stay here for now and see if it's really as "great" as the guys say." Yumiko then suggested while she told her plan, which the others didn't think was that bad. "It's a good plan in itself, but what about Sophie? I can't leave her here alone," Rosita said in a thoughtful but at the same time worried tone. "We'll take care of you," Princess said optimistically but also with a smile. "We're keeping an eye on you, don't worry, we've always had an eye on you," Eziekel said gently, which eased Rosita's worries a little. "Well then it's decided. Eugene does his thing with Stephanie, Yumiko goes to clarify it with her letter, me and Princess talk to the head of work but we're taking Sophie with us and you clarify that you can leave here," Eziekel said seriously, whereupon everyone agreed and then left the room together. Yumiko said goodbye first and then went to look for the person who was responsible for the matter with her letter. Eugene also went off but he was looking for Stephanie because she wanted to tell him something about commonwealth. So now only Eziekel, Sophie, Princess and Rosita were left. Rosita turned back to Sophie. "You have your walkie talkie? Is it on too?" Rosita asked seriously but also with concern while looking at her daughter. Sophie then nodded as confirmation that her walkie talkie was on. "Well, if something happens, please radio through, no matter what it is and no matter when, I need to know if everything is okay, I would never forgive myself if something happened to you," Rosita said in the same tone before taking a short break. "Please take care of Sophie, yes? You know she's stubborn but please keep an eye," Rosita said seriously but still worried, whereupon Ezekiel and Princess agreed. Rosita then turned back to Sophie. "Stop it both of you yeah?" It came from Rosita while she pulled Sophie into a hug. "Sure" came from Sophie and to Rosita's surprise, Sophie actually returned the hug, which made Rosita smile even more. "Good," Rosita then replied before the two remained in the embrace for a moment. After the two broke away from the hug, Rosita gave Sophie a gentle kiss on the head before setting off to find Pamela Milton. After searching for a while, Rosita would find what she was looking for. When Rosita arrived at the office she knocked once and there was a quick answer so Rosita entered the office. After a short moment of greeting, Rosita got straight to the point. "I would have to leave the place again for a while, I have a child somewhere else and I can't just leave him alone," Rosita said in a serious but still cold tone while looking at the woman in front of her. "Actually, we're not fans of letting newbies out again because we want to make sure that they're really okay, but in this case we'll make an exception," came Pamela, whereupon Rosita thanked her before she went to the gates where one of the guards was standing downstairs. "I have permission to go," Rosita said coldly, whereupon the guard told someone who then opened the gate. "I hope nothing happens to you, my daughter," Rosita began coldly. "You have my and our word that we don't hurt little girls in the commonwealth," came the soldier who was wearing white protective clothing. "Everywhere in the world they hurt little girls," Rosita replied coldly. "But not here," the soldier replied, whereupon Rosita nodded skeptically before going through the gate and first looking where she was and then making her way to Alexandria.I hope you like it guys and please like for the chapter and please leave here a few comments :)
