Flashback from the end of the last chapter:
"Typical Rosita," Adrian said with a smile, whereupon Sophie nodded in confirmation. When Adrian was finished, the two went to a place in Alexandria where there were usually no people, where the two talked for a while until they went home sometime around night. Everyone went to their homes after saying goodbye to each other.
Now:
It has been about 5 months since Sophie returned her love for Adrian and kissed him. Surprisingly, these months were really peaceful but also good. During this time, Gabriel and Rosita also became closer, eventually so close that they became a couple. Sophie liked Gabriel and they both understood each other quite well, which even surprised Rosita. In this past time, Adrian and Sophie would have been inseparable because they had both been together for a long time and most people knew it, but Sophie also did a lot with Micheal.
Right now Sophie was out with Eugene, Eziekel, Yumiko and Princess, a person who joined the group a while ago because Eugene wanted to meet his contact person but Rosita was also there because she was a little unsure about the matter. Right now Rosita, Ezekiel, Yumiko, Eugene, Princess and Sophie were walking at an abandoned train station near the tracks where Eugene and the other person apparently met. At some point the group stopped and there was silence for a moment until Eziekel spoke up. "We could spend the night in one of the wagons, it's really late and maybe she'll come tomorrow morning," Eziekel said thoughtfully but still slightly worried as he looked around. "She's gone, well if she was ever here at all," Eugene said in a rather sad tone while he looked down. Yumiko then walked towards him before saying anything. "Hey, we don't regret anything Eugene, you can prove yourself differently at some point," Yumiko said with a smile, which cheered Eugene up a bit. "She's right, there have been stupider things, for example when mom and I met you, I hated you back then," Sophie murmured, whereupon all eyes were on Sophie. "How did you two meet?" Yumiko asked curiously when she heard that from Sophie. "Do you even remember?" Rosita asked, smiling but still skeptical. "Not everything but something" Sophie murmured coldly. "Go ahead, I'm curious," it came in Princess's typical excited tone. "It was shortly after the outbreak, mom, dad and I drove somewhere, I don't remember exactly where I knew it had something to do with the military," Sophie began to explain, with everyone listening eagerly, even though Rosita had the story knows because she was finally there and Eugene was only there when he met Rosita Abraham and Sophie. "When we arrived we met Mike and we were supposed to go somewhere and there we met Eugene and we were supposed to take him somewhere, which we did. At the beginning I couldn't stand my own, he seemed strange to me." Sophie then explained coldly, whereupon most people smiled slightly. "That's right. Sophie gave me the strangest looks," Eugene admitted, whereupon Eziekel and Rosita also had to laugh. "Who is Mike Eziekel then asked curiously. "He was a very good friend of mine and Abraham," Rosita then explained, whereupon Eugene looked away because he felt guilty because he knew if Rosita and Abraham hadn't come back to the base with Sophie then then Mike might still be alive. "He saved me back then. "I barely remember him, but the gun I have was his, Abraham gave it to me." Sophie then murmured coldly as she touched her gun in its holster. After that there was a moment of silence until Eugene nodded. "We're not going back" came Eugene said it confidently as he took a few steps forward, whereupon the group looked at him. "So people don't live on the tracks or in the surrounding area, but some live here, they are here, Stephanie is here."
Sophie then slowly walked towards him. "He's right, we'll look until we find her," Sophie dsnn agreed, whereupon Ezekiel and Rosita also agreed. "Man, you really like her?" Princess came with a smile, whereupon Eugene nodded. The rest then also went to him and Sophie. "He's always been stubborn," Rosita said with a smile, whereupon Eugene agreed with a smile. "Um, guys.." Sophie suddenly said as spotlights suddenly turned on and were pointed at the group, whereupon everyone quickly looked around for people. Jumiko wanted to reach for her bow and Sophie took out her pistol but at that moment a voice sounded. "Guns down!" It was just the voice and at that moment some people came from different directions, there were about 16 people who came towards the group with guns. Eugene was the first to put down his weapons and put his hands up after one of the gunmen said again that the weapons should be put down. Then the others did the same and put their hands up."Do what they say," Rosita said seriously as she turned to Sophie, who then looked at Rosita too. Sophie sighed and then threw her weapon on the ground before putting her hands up. "Come on," came one of the armed men, whereupon some of them approached the group.
After a few of the armed guys approached the group, the group was separated because each of the guys took one of the guys and led them to a wagon, so there were always two people there. Princess didn't see it and somehow tried to find a way out Find situation. When she saw that the guy who led them to a wagon had a knife, she grabbed it, but the other guy who was there pointed his gun at Princess. Sophie saw this and made her way to Princess since Sophie was just following the guys. "Leave her alone!" It came from Jumiko when she saw one of the guys pointing the gun at Princess. "If you even touch her,you're death." Rosita said extremely angry as she made her way to Sophie, but the problem was that Rosita was dragged to the wagon and she couldn't get to Sophie. Rosita tried everything but nothing worked. "Hands off," Sophie said coldly when she was at Princess's and saw that one of the guys had also told Princess. Just as Sophie was about to say something again, one of the guys hit Jumoki on the head with the gun, which caused Jumiko to fall to the ground. Two of these guys then brought Jumiko into one of the wagons. "What's the point? We never did anything to you. Now let her go," Sophie said, angry but also cold and warning, but at that moment one of the men hit Sophie on the head with the gun, which caused Sophie to fall to the ground fell. Sophie looked up slightly, her search was blurred, but she couldn't guide herself because the guy had stupidly hit exactly the spot where Sophie's head wound was before and since it had mostly healed but was still very sensitive when touched, this led to this Sophie's vision became blurry. The last thing Sophie knew was that she was being taken to one of the wagons, but it was locked. But Sophie became unconscious after a few moments.
