Viktor Hargreeves was never someone who fell in love quickly, but lately, he found himself drawn to one person in particular: Y/n, Five's wife. She was kind, intelligent, and had a calming presence that Viktor admired deeply. However, he knew these feelings were inappropriate. Y/n was happily married to his brother, and the last thing he wanted was to create any tension in the family.

Despite his efforts to suppress his emotions, Five had begun to notice the subtle signs. Viktor's lingering glances, the way he seemed to light up when Y/n was around, and the awkward silences whenever Five entered the room during their conversations. Five was exceptionally observant, and it didn't take long for him to piece together what was going on.

One evening, Five decided it was time to address the situation head-on. After dinner, he found Viktor alone in the study, staring blankly at a book. Taking a deep breath, Five walked in and closed the door behind him.

"Viktor, we need to talk," Five said, his voice steady but serious.

Viktor looked up, startled. "What about?"

Five sat down across from him, folding his hands on the table. "It's about Y/n."

Viktor's face flushed, and he looked away, knowing what was coming. "Five, I—"

"Let me finish," Five interrupted gently but firmly. "I've noticed how you look at her, Viktor. The way you act around her. And I understand that sometimes feelings can develop unexpectedly."

Viktor felt a lump form in his throat. "Five, I never meant for this to happen. I respect you and Y/n so much. I would never act on these feelings."

Five nodded, appreciating his brother's honesty. "I know you wouldn't intentionally do anything to hurt us. But these feelings, if left unaddressed, can cause problems. For you, for me, and for Y/n."

Viktor nodded, feeling a mix of shame and relief. "I'm sorry, Five. I'll distance myself. I don't want to come between you and Y/n."

Five leaned forward, his expression softening. "Viktor, you're my brother. I care about you, and I don't want this to drive a wedge between us. We need to set some boundaries to ensure this doesn't affect our family dynamic."

Viktor met his brother's gaze, feeling the weight of his words. "I understand. I'll do whatever it takes to move past this."

Five placed a hand on Viktor's shoulder. "Thank you, Viktor. I appreciate your understanding. We're family, and we need to protect that bond."

With that, Five stood up, signaling the end of their conversation. Viktor remained seated, contemplating the gravity of the situation. It had been a difficult conversation, but a necessary one. He knew he had to work on managing his feelings and focus on maintaining the harmony within their family.

As the days went by, Viktor made a conscious effort to keep his distance and redirect his thoughts. He threw himself into his music and spent more time with his siblings, finding solace in their company. Five, on the other hand, kept a watchful eye but trusted his brother to keep his word.

In time, the tension eased, and the family found its rhythm again. The bond between Five and Viktor grew stronger, built on trust and understanding. They had faced a challenging moment together and emerged with a deeper respect for one another. And while Viktor's feelings for Y/n never completely vanished, he learned to accept them and prioritize the love and loyalty he had for his family.
