The sound of gunfire echoed through the empty street as chaos erupted. Luther, Allison, Five, Viktor, and Five's wife Y/n found themselves ambushed by a group of armed attackers. The sudden onslaught left them scrambling for cover, bullets whizzing past them.

In the midst of the chaos, Y/n was hit. She let out a gasp as the bullet struck her side, and she crumpled to the floor. Five's heart dropped at the sight of her falling. He could feel his blood boiling with a mix of fear and rage. He wanted to run to her, to make sure she was okay, but the relentless gunfire kept him pinned down.

Luther, the ever-protective brother, took charge. He positioned himself to shield Allison, Five, and Viktor, his massive frame absorbing the brunt of the attack. He glanced at Five, seeing the desperate look in his eyes.

"Stay down, Five!" Luther barked, his voice firm. "I promised Y/n I'd protect you."

Five's eyes were wide with fear and desperation. "I need to see her, Luther! Please, let me go to her!"

Luther's face was grim, his resolve unwavering. "I can't let you, Five. We have to stay alive."

Tears of frustration welled up in Five's eyes as he looked past Luther to where Y/n lay on the cold floor. He could see her struggling to breathe, her hand pressed against her wound. The sight tore at his heart, and he felt utterly helpless.

Meanwhile, Allison and Viktor were doing their best to return fire, trying to hold off the attackers. Allison's powers were limited in such a chaotic situation, and Viktor's focus was split between the fight and the worry for their wounded family.

Y/n's eyes fluttered open, and she saw Five looking at her, his face etched with worry. She managed a weak smile, trying to convey that she was still fighting. Her voice was barely a whisper, but Five could see her lips moving.

"I love you," she mouthed, the words breaking Five's heart even more.

Five turned to Luther, his voice cracking with desperation. "Luther, please! I can't lose her! Let me go to her!"

Luther's eyes softened for a moment, understanding the pain his brother was feeling, but he remained resolute. "Five, if you go out there, you'll get yourself killed. Y/n wouldn't want that."

Five clenched his fists, torn between the need to protect himself and the overwhelming desire to be by Y/n's side. The attackers were relentless, and the situation was dire.

Suddenly, there was a lull in the gunfire. The attackers seemed to be regrouping, giving them a brief moment of respite. Luther seized the opportunity to bark orders. "Viktor, Allison, keep them at bay. Five, stay here!"

Ignoring Luther's command, Five took advantage of the momentary pause. He run to Y/n's side, kneeling beside her and taking her hand in his. Her grip was weak, and her skin felt cold.

"Y/n, I'm here," he said, his voice trembling with emotion. "Hang on, okay? Just hang on."

Y/n's eyes flickered open, and she gazed up at Five with a mixture of pain and love. "Five... you shouldn't be here," she whispered.

"I couldn't stay away," Five replied, tears streaming down his face. "I can't lose you, Y/n. I won't let you go."

Luther, seeing Five's disobedience, moved to cover them both, his massive frame providing a shield. "Dammit, Five," he muttered, but he couldn't fault his brother for wanting to be with his wife in her final moments.

The gunfire resumed, and the situation grew more desperate. Viktor and Allison fought valiantly, but the attackers were closing in. Five held Y/n's hand tightly, his heart breaking with each passing second.

"Y/n, I love you," Five said, his voice choked with emotion. "Please, stay with me. Please."

Y/n managed a faint smile, her eyes filled with love and sadness. "I love you too, Five," she whispered. "Always."

As the gunfire intensified, Five felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness. He knew that time was running out, and there was nothing he could do to save her. He pressed his forehead against hers, his tears mingling with hers.

Luther, still protecting them, looked down at the scene, his own heart heavy with grief. He had promised to protect them, but he couldn't shield them from this pain.

In the end, the attackers were repelled, but the damage was done. Y/n's breathing grew shallower, and Five held her close, whispering words of love and comfort until her eyes finally closed.

The warehouse fell silent, the echoes of the battle fading away. Five clung to Y/n's lifeless body, his heart shattered. Luther, Allison, and Viktor stood nearby, their own grief palpable.

Five looked up at his siblings, his eyes filled with pain and loss. "She's gone," he whispered, the weight of the words crushing him.

Luther placed a hand on Five's shoulder, offering what little comfort he could. "We'll get through this, Five," he said softly. "Together."

But Five's world had crumbled, and he knew that nothing would ever be the same. He had lost the love of his life, and the pain of that loss would haunt him forever.
