It was safe to say that the funeral was a disaster. Tess stepped in and separated Dagmar and Oona, and the two queens sat on the ground pouting like children. The giantess scolded the two and told them it was disrespectful to fight in front of mourning people. Bean snapped at Oona and told her to leave. Hissing and cursing at the family, Oona hopped on her horse and left the scene.

Later that day, Bean, Tavish, Luci, and Dagmar retreated to the living room. Zog went to talk to Odval about clearing his schedule. Dagmar sat in an armchair while Tavish rubbed her hand comfortingly. "I'm so terribly sorry that happened, Mother. I don't know what became of Oona. She's never been this aggressive before."

"She's so annoying! She's always been annoying!" said Bean angrily. "Ugh, I can't wait for her to leave this kingdom and never come back!"

"I must admit, that was one hell of a queen fight. You ladies sure know how to put on a show. Waaaay better than the Kings," said Luci.

"Don't worry about it, sweethearts. It was no problem at all." Dagmar smiled and caressed Tavish's hand. "All that matters is that we enjoy the rest of the day together."

Zog entered the room with a bottle of champagne. "Good news, babe. I got Odval to clear my schedule. So we have all day to spend together!"

"Oh, Zoggy, um, I was going to spend the rest of the day with Bean and Tavish," said Dagmar, getting up from the armchair and taking the bottle of wine from him.

"Hey, I thought we were going to do stuff together!" said Zog, frowning.

"Dad, come on, Tavish, and I haven't had a chance to talk to a parent that doesn't mumble everything under his breath," said Bean, picking up a wine glass.

Zog mumbles. "What is this, some kinda slam against me? Well, Ok."

Tavish placed his hand on Zog's shoulder. "Father, don't worry, we just want to catch up with Mother. Remember, we still have our family outing to look forward to," The prince smiled.

Zog stepped out of the room, and Bean kicked Luci out and closed the door.

"What the, kick me out of why I outta—ok, I don't care anymore. Imma go find merkimer and ride him around like a horse or something," said Luci, walking off.

"Ugh..." Zog groaned. "Vip, vap!" two tiny identical-looking men wearing red hats and tunics stepped out from little doors in the stone walls. "Go fetch me my emotional support turkey. Oh, and don't forget the dressing!"

The tiny men sighed and walked off to the kitchens.

Meanwhile, Bean, Tavish, and Dagmar continued their talks while indulging in the rich taste of the wine. Tavish looked over at Bean, who was downing the wine in one go.

"Sister, you're doing it again," said Tavish.

Bean burped. "Oh, don't start with that whole 'You're supposed to sip it slowly and savor the taste' Mumbo jumbo." She rolled her eyes and filled her glass.

Tavish sighed. The prince was going to ask her mother to tell Bean about the beauty of wine, but his eyes widened when he saw Dagmar down her glass in one go and let out a louder blech than Bean.

"Nice one, Mom!" said Bean, and the two high-fived each other.

"Um, good one indeed," said Tavish, looking at them.

"Oh, come now, Tavish. You don't need to act like a royal prince around your mother. We're family. We don't need to hide anything from each other," said Dagmar, refilling her glass.
