Hakai

Cross remained frozen, a statue of living stone under Dabura's curse. Across the barren landscape outside Babidi's ship, Gohan struggled to his feet, blood trickling down his chin, his fur-covered, feline-themed Super Saiyan form panting under the weight of exhaustion. The cratered battlefield was scattered with the battered bodies of friends, allies, and civilians alike—all forcefully transported here from the tournament by Babidi's twisted spell.

The villain himself stood at the center of it all, gloating as the chaos unfolded. He cackled with joy, his eyes alight with malicious glee. "Yes! This is the chaos I need! The hatred! The fury! Fight, Videl! Fight your beloved! Show him your true power! Kill him and make Majin Buu whole!"

Videl's eyes were locked on Gohan. Her body trembled, her fists clenched. The M mark on her forehead flared like fire. Her once-black hair was now streaked with violet, and her eyes glowed with a dark, haunting energy. Blood ran down her arms, and yet she stood.

"You never took me seriously," she growled. "You always held back. You still are. Even now."

Gohan took a step forward, hands open. "Because I love you, Videl. I don't want to hurt you. I never wanted any of this."

She slapped his hand away, lunging forward with a roar. Gohan blocked, ducked, dodged. Her attacks were wild, fueled by pain and power. The rage of rejection. The thirst to prove herself.

Meanwhile, across the field, Dabura reentered the fray. Goku blocked his first blow, only to be caught from the side as a familiar energy collided with his ribs.

"You never took me seriously either, Goku," Bulma, as Cross Wildcat, snarled, chaining a flurry of strikes with disturbing precision. "All these years, and I was just the woman who built things. Let's see how you handle this."

Goku grunted, reeling under the combined onslaught of the Majin Queen and the Demon King.

Back at the center, Babidi howled with laughter. "Yes, yes! Kill each other! My energy meter is overflowing! Soon Buu will awaken fully, and this entire universe will burn in his name!"

Majin Buu loomed behind him, now fully formed but eerily still, his childlike face placid, unreadable. He blinked slowly, watching the violence.

Gohan and Videl clashed again. He had powered down, trying to show her mercy. But with every blow she landed, her power grew darker, heavier. Ultra Ego was devouring her, feeding on her rage, her sense of betrayal.

Then, she hesitated. Just for a moment. She saw Gohan smile.

"You can still fight it," he whispered.

That was when Babidi snapped.

"No! You don't get to hesitate now! Buu! Kill her! Kill all of them!"

Buu turned his head slowly. Blinked again.

Then frowned.

Then growled.

He didn't like Babidi's voice. Didn't like what he was seeing. All this fighting. All this shouting. The girl was angry, but not the way Buu liked. It wasn't fun.

The moment hung in the air.

And then Videl snapped.

She turned away from Gohan, slowly lifting her hand and pointing it at Babidi.

"Hakai."

The word came from her mouth like a crack of thunder. A divine erasure.

Babidi had a moment to widen his eyes in horror before he was gone. Not exploded. Not teleported. Erased. Wiped from reality.

Whis watched from a distance, drawn by destruction Ki, but did not step in, simple watching, "Fascinating girl."

The battlefield fell silent.

Dabura stopped.

Majin Bulma faltered, looking toward the epicenter of the vanished wizard.

Majin Buu... giggled.

Gohan rushed to Videl, wrapping his arms around her.

"Videl, what did you just—"

She dropped to her knees, her hair slowly turning back to black, the M on her forehead flickering.

"I just wanted to be strong," she whispered.

Gohan held her tightly as Buu slowly walked forward, arms swinging. The real battle, it seemed, was about to begin.

"Buu's turn to play?" the Majin began to smile.
