Tessa

It was like my heart stopped beating, every breath I take being wasted. I felt like everything around me was different, the dream that I had coming back to life. My eyes could remember his grey eyes; the blue disappearing like it never was there. How he had his grip on me, preventing me from screaming away. I closed my eyes, making my life disappear from this situation, slowly shutting down. When I opened them, I could see myself back at the manor we were previously at. I could see the view even clearer now; the trees that were around the house to the skyline that surrounded Seattle. My shoulder flinched when I felt his cold hand on me, making me turn towards him. I could feel his fingertips trace my jaw, his breath brushing against my face. It was my paradise to be with him, alone.
She can't know about all of this, no matter how much wrong I could do. No one can know about this relationship between Daddy and I, it's too risky. I could hear the thump of my heart, every beat ringing in my ear. My hand pressed against my chest, feeling each heartbeat as the silence surrounded me. I thought harder about what I was going to say to her, if she even walked in on time. Daddy's hand tilted my face up, making me look into his eyes. He smiled, stroking my hair as he stared into my eyes. HIs eyes had only a bit of blue in them, bringing color into his face.
"Tessa," she said, making me blink my eyes open. I looked around us, seeing Daddy's body on the sofa and Becca's arms crossed against her chest. "Tessa." My eyes looked back to her, quickly pushing her into another room. I panted out, struggling to breathe as I thought of what to say to her. It was like coming out of water, taking myself out of the paradise that I was in. I heard her giggle a bit, her blue eyes scanning me. "What's wrong, Tess?" I lifted an eyebrow, biting the inside of my cheek. All I can think about was the thought of Becca knowing everything about this. I breathed out, asking her about what she saw when she entered the apartment. She chuckled at me, sitting in the stool that was next to me. "Well, I exited the elevator and saw the two of you staring at me with your intense grey eyes." It calmed me when she didn't see Daddy on top of me, only the part where we jolted up when the elevator opened. "Why are you asking me that?"
I rubbed the back of my neck, nervously chuckling. "Oh, nothing," I looked towards the ground. "Why are you here again?" She didn't answer me, only giving me a folded piece of paper addressed to me. I unfolded the piece of paper, feeling the thin material on the pads of my fingers. "More questions," I breathed out as I looked back at her. She nodded, telling me to ask them in the interview with Daddy. I realized that I needed to finish the interview I had with him, biting the inside of my cheek as I looked at him. She walked back to the elevator, telling me that she had to go to her friend's house, leaving me with him. I waved back at her as the doors closed, turning back around and heading to the sofa that Daddy was sitting at. He turned his head to me, still worried about Becca walking in. I sat next to him, staying still as I heard him heavily breathing. "She didn't see you on top of me," I blurted out. He moved closer to me, inhaling and exhaling as he moved inch by inch.
"I can't control myself around you," he breathed out. I shuttered, watching as his eyes ran down my body. He stood up from the sofa, his footsteps walking away from my body.
I quickly stood up, turning my head in his direction. "Then don't," I loudly said, catching his attention. He turned around, his eyes looking into mine like a hawk. "Lose control of yourself," I walked closer to him, stopping at his feet and looking up at him. He pressed his lips against mine, passionately moving them with mine. I closed my eyes, letting myself ease into my paradise like the last time. He backed away, tilting his head down so our foreheads were touching. I whispered again, "Lost control of yourself, Daddy." He backed away from me, wrapping his fingers around my hand and leading me to the kitchen. I giggled as he lifted me up and onto the counter, letting me have a view of him trying to cook.
He placed a plate in front of me, ordering me to eat as he sat down next to me. I reminded him about the control thing, making his face come closer to mine. Instead of pressing his lips onto mine, he bit the toast that was in my hand, looking up as he backed away. I muttered a comment about him being a control freak under my breath, his eyes looking into mine. "I exercise control in all things, Miss Grey," he commented while sipping his cup of coffee. I bit my lip as my eyes watched him, studying how his eyebrow creases whenever he's serious. He looked at me, setting the mug down on the counter. "Is there something wrong, baby girl?" I shook my head, shoving another bite of eggs into my mouth.
My body walked into my room, yawning as I closed the door behind me. I looked at the envelope that was placed on my bed, my hands opening it to reveal the contract that Daddy had been talking about. My eyes scanned the note that was attached onto the front page, knowing that it was Daddy's handwriting. I peeled the sticky note from the pages, reading it aloud. "To my Tessa Grey," I read. "This is the contract that Daddy has been talking about. The first page is the non-closure agreement for you to sign, telling me that you will not disclose anything that happens in this contract to others. Read over the next few pages and meet me downstairs if you have questions. From your Jamie Dornan." I turned around once I heard the door close, startled when Daddy came into my room. My hand dropped the note, letting it drift onto the ground. "Can you at least make a sound when you walk in, Daddy?"
