An alarm sounds from somewhere nearby causing me to slowly awake. I must've fallen asleep after the movie last night.

I open my eyes and go to stand up before realizing that Alex's arms are around me. I guess we both passed out.

"Alex, wake up." I shake him awake, still leaning into his chest. "Is that your alarm going off?"

"Uh, ya. Good thing I set one." He laughs and releases me.

"Where's it coming from though?" I giggle as he stands and scans the area.

"Umm..." He reaches in between the couch cushions and pulls out his phone. "There."

"We better go get ready. We've got a long day ahead of us!" I squeal and run off to my room to get dressed.

I pull on a Twenty One Pilots tee and tuck it into some high waisted shorts, adding a gold necklace and a few rings for accessories. I pin my hair out of my face and lace up my red converse, then brush my teeth and do my makeup.

"Macie, are you ready to go?" Alex yells from the living room.

"I'm coming!" I shout back and race out, quickly snatching my phone.

"Do you want anything to eat?"

"I'm good."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure there'll be plenty of food at the gig tonight."

"Okay..." Alex holds the door open and follows me into the elevator.

"I'm literally counting down the minutes!" I smile excitedly and clap my hands together.

"Literally same." Alex grins back as the elevator reaches the bottom floor and we begin our walk to the school.

DANNYS POV

When I wake up, light's seeping through the closed curtains and I check to see that it's 10:00. Macie still hasn't replied to anything. Should I be worried? Her phone can't still be dead, can it?

I go to text her again but stop myself. She's probably just busy and I don't want to seem even more annoying by adding onto the spam I already sent her. Instead I get up and slowly open my curtains, as to not blind myself. My phone suddenly vibrates on my nightstand and I hurry over to check it.

I lock my phone feeling much better after having heard from Macie. Even if it wasn't much, at least it was something.

"Danny, are you awake yet?" I hear Teala whisper from outside my door.

"Yeah, you can come in."

"Paul's asleep and I'm bored." She flops onto my bed and hugs a pillow.

"Don't you have classes today?"

"Not until later. Wanna do something till then?"

"Like what?"

"We could cook something."

"By cook I hope you mean call Papa Johns and order a pizza."

"No, I mean like actually."

"So Dominoes then...?"

"No, like lets actually cook a meal."

"Chinese take out." I snap my fingers together and laugh and she drops the pillow on her face in disappointment. "Fine, let's go make something." I sigh and stand up.
