DANNYS POV

I've been trying to get ahold of Macie all day but she isn't answering anything. Calls, texts, snapchats, literally nothing.

"Hey Tea, have you talked to Macie at all today?" I ask Teala as she walks into the living room with a styrofoam cup of noodles.

"I texted her earlier today. She said she had to go 'cause her phone was about to die."

"Oh, okay. I keep calling her but she won't answer, that's probably why."

"Yeah, try her again in a few hours. In the meantime, wanna play?" She holds up an Xbox controller and smirks.

"Oh, you're on."

PAULS POV

"Hey guys! What's up?" I walk passed Danny and Teala in the living room and into the kitchen to put away the groceries I just bought.

"I'm kicking Danny's ass right now." Teala shouts. I look at the TV to see Teala and Danny neck and neck in Mario cart.

"She is not!" Danny defends his pride. I laugh to myself and open the freezer, shoving in all the frozen pizzas I bought on sale.

I'm glad to see Danny actually enjoying himself for once. Ever since Macie left he's been really upset. He won't admit it, but I can tell that this move has been hard on him.

We came to Los Angeles to have fun and be part of the YouTube community, but it's difficult when all Danny ever wants to do is call Macie. I get that he misses her and that he wishes she was here, heck I wish she was here too. Maybe then he wouldn't be so sad all the time.

Another thing that really seems to be bothering Danny is the fact that she's living with that Alex kid. From the year that I knew him, he seemed like a pretty chill guy. I can totally see why him and Macie would get along, but there's no way that she would break up with Danny for him.

"Paul, do you wanna come play?" Teala asks from the living room.

"Sure. I just have to finish putting stuff away, I'll be right there."

Maybe that party tomorrow will be good for Danny. He needs something to help keep his mind off things.

MACIES POV

"Great! We'll be there Friday at seven." I nod as we all crowd around Marie's phone.

"See you then. I'm excited to see what you'll bring to shoot!" The manager of the fashion shoot, Celio, talks through the speaker. "Good day to you all!"

"Bye!" Marie hangs up the phone and I squeal.

"I can't believe this is actually happening!"

"You're gonna do great Macie." Alex smiles and sets his hand on my knee.

"You mean we're gonna do great!" I giggle and put my arm around his shoulders.

During the call Celio heard Alex talking and asked who was there. I told him it was my friend and he started throwing out a bunch of questions until he asked if Marie could send a picture of the two of us together. At first I was a little weirded out but after she emailed it to him, he immediately asked if Alex would be interested in modeling as well. Our apartment is fairly pricey and the gig does pay well so he agreed.

"I'm actually really excited." Alex laughs and runs his hand through his hair.

"You should be! If all goes well the two of you could become very successful in the near future."
