MACIES POV

"Do you guys wanna hang out tonight?" Garret asks Danny and Paul as we walk down the street.

"We actually have to be up early for Digi rehearsals, but we'll definitely find time to chill later." Paul answers as we turn the corner towards mine and Alex's apartment. This whole time I've been trying my hardest to resist the urge to hold Dannys hand.

"See you later." I wave as we stop in front of our building. I reach forward to hug Paul and Danny, holding Danny for slightly longer. Shortly after goodbyes, we're in the elevator heading up to the sixth floor.

"What time is it? I'm exhausted?" Sammy pushes her hair out of her face and yawns adorably.

"10:00."

"I'm ready to pass out." She giggles again as Garret puts his arm around her.

"You've had a long day, head off to bed. Alex and I will probably be in the living room watching some 2-star rated movie on Netflix if you need us." I tell them as we enter our apartment.

"Okay. Goodnight!" Sam nods.

"G'night ugly, I mean Macie." Garret messes up my hair and follows Sam down the hall towards my room. I laugh it off and head over to the couch where Alex joins me and sets his arm around my shoulders.

"Let's watch one of the shitty ass horror movies on here." Alex suggests, picking up the remote.

"Okay, but don't even think about clicking on Human Centipede."

"Fine." He sighs and we both laugh. We select a movie and get about a half hour into it before deciding to change into pajamas.

"Dammit, Sam and Garret are probably asleep I don't wanna wake them up." I take my hand off my doorknob and step back.

"I'll give you something to wear." Alex whispers across the hall. I follow him into his room and shut the door behind me.

"Sorry about this. I totally blanked on the fact that all my stuff is still in my room."

"Don't worry about it. Here, you can have this shirt and these shorts that somehow ended up in my laundry." He tosses me a white t-shirt and a pair of my own black spandex.

"I mean, I'm not one to judge but if you wanna borrow my clothes, just ask." I joke and turn around to take off my shirt and put on the one Alex gave me. I make sure it's long enough to keep everything covered as I change into my shorts and throw my hair up into a pony tail. "Now let's go finish that terrible, terrible movie." I grab his hand and pull him back into the living room once we're both changed.

"This movie really is awful." Alex laughs after a few more minutes of watching the screen. I lean onto his shoulder and adjust the blanket we're wrapped in to cover my feet.

"What'd you wanna go instead of watching then?" I giggle and snuggle up to him, hugging his arm.

"We could just talk."

"Sure. Whatcha got to chat about Alexander?"

"I like someone."

"Ooh! Go on."

"But they don't like me back."

"Aw, Alex. Why do you think that?"

"Because I told them something that I thought was true at the time, but now I've realized isn't."

"Then just tell them the truth. I'm sure they'll understand." I look up at his face and smile softly. He brushes my hair behind my ear and kisses the top of my head.
