"This investigation has flatlined. The only chance for resuscitation is taking drastic measures."

Wednesday marched into the quad and spotted Agnes sitting at a picnic table with other students and approached her.

"Agnes. When you were sending me those stalker text messages, how did you unlock Galpin's phone?"

...

Agnes and Wednesday stood in his dorm with a shapeshifting student who had changed her form to look like Galpin.

"The nose is a little...bigger." Agnes said, joking up a picture of Galpin.

The shapeshifter adjusted her nose and Wednesday held up the phone to her face, and it unlocked.

The student shifted back to herself, and Agnes smiled at her. "Great shapeshifting Josephine."

Josephine grinned. "Anything for Wednesday Addams."

Agnes held up a box towards him. "I grabbed what I could from Galpin's house before the cops did a sweep. For our first case together, I wanted to over deliver."

Wednesday glanced at her. "I find your lack of boundaries infuriating and your fawning devotion irksome. But your ability does have its investigative perks." He took the box and sat at his desk.

"He's even crueler in person." Josephine whispered.

"Leave. You're both dismissed." He ordered.

The two girls turned and left as Wednesday began to play a voicemail Carl Bradbury had left on Galpin's phone.

"They're onto me. If I don't make it, the evidence is safe at the Bull Pen."

"Bullpen? Bradbury hasn't been a cop for years. Doubt he was talking about the bullpen at the sheriff's station." Wednesday opened the small box and began sifting through it. "I think we're looking for the address of a house, or apartment." He noticed a stack of photos and pulled them out. One was of a cabin deep in the woods. He flipped it over and saw writing on the back.

'The Bullpen 2015 Pine Crest'

"Pine Crest, 2015." Wednesday pulled out a map and laid it in his desk. Thing crawled along the map and pointed to Pine Crest. "Yes, but how do we get there?" Thing turned and pointed to Camp Jericho on the map. "Looks like the great outdoors beckons after all..." he huffed. "Pack weapons."

...

Principal Dort stood in the quad with a blue vest and blue hat with the Nevermore logo on it, blowing a trumpet as students filed around him.

"Atten-hut! It's time to heed the call to adventure! Good morning my fellow Outcasts. So wonderful to see your bright and shining faces. The buses are already here. Be careful loading those coffins. Number One, look out for each other. Number two, have fun!"

Enid was over by the small coffee stand in the corner of the quad, ordering her final drink for the next two days.

"This is my last taste of civilization for two whole days. I'll get a venti furraccino, two pumps chocolate, one pump strawberry, and an extra pump of steak sauce please." She ordered.
