Chapter 7: Dance Until I'm Dead

Ajax and (Y/n) snuck into Dort's office, rifling through his desk until they found the key to his apartment. They unlocked the door to the left of the office and opened it to find Gabrielle sitting in an armchair, looking scared.

"Ajax?" She exclaimed.

"Principal Dort can't hurt you anymore." (Y/n) told her.

Ajax nodded in agreement. "Come on, show's about to start."

Enid paced back and forth nervously by the stage when Wednesday approached her.

"Did you find Bianca's mom?"

"Yep." (Y/n) replied, walking up next to Wednesday. "Ajax is with her."

"Excellent job, my love." Wednesday praised, kissing the top of her head. "But if we're going to stop Dort, we'll need more help. That includes you, Agnes. I know you're still here."

Agnes appeared next to Enid in a deep emerald dress, her red hair out of the braids and now in an elegant updo.

Wednesday looked over her outfit before looking back up at her. "Finally some originality."

"I don't care what you think about me anymore." Agnes told him.

"Good."

She smiled at his acceptance. "What's the plan?"

Lights illuminated the small stage to show Enid standing in the center.

Enid began performing her dance routine, drawing the attention of the crowd.

Agnes suddenly appeared behind Enid, swaying side to side behind her, joining in her routine.

🎵This goodbye is no surprise. This goodbye won't make me cry🎵

The music picked up, and they both began to spin around the stage, moving in perfect harmony as if they'd practiced together forever.

While the dance was going on, Bianca looked around nervously for any sight of her mother, when she saw Wednesday and (Y/n) walking behind sheer curtains, watching the scene with calculated gazes.

🎵Cause when you killed me inside, that's when I came alive. Yeah, the music's gonna bring me back from death.🎵

Bianca furrowed her brows in confusion, but trusted that they had a plan.
