Wednesday stood in his dorm, throwing on his jacket, preparing to head to the grave when the door opened and (Y/n) and Enid walked in.
"There you are. You missed dinner." (Y/n) told him.
"Probably a good thing though, since Dort turned it into a campus safety TED talk." Enid reasoned. She then noticed how Wednesday was packing up his bag. "Where are you going?"
"I'm heading to the Nevermore graveyard to attempt to restore my psychic ability." He told her.
(Y/n) raised her brows. "Uh, what about the curfew?"
"Yeah! If you're not back you could get the entire dorm banned from the gala! You may have dropped out of the orchestra, but I've been working on my dance routine for weeks." Enid complained.
"I'm aware, but I am not going to cower away in my room while Tyler and his mother are out there. I'm going to find them." He stated firmly.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes. "I don't understand you, Wednesday. Why do you keep putting yourself in these situations?"
"And how exactly is going to the graveyard going to restore your psychic ability?" Enid wondered.
"That's on a need-to-know basis." Wednesday said. "And after last night, you don't need to know, Enid."
Enid marched towards him. "Did it ever occur to you that we're all just trying our best?"
"Trying your best means you're planning on failing and letting me know in advance." Wednesday snipped.
She scoffed. "The fact that you can be so arrogant and still make so many bad decisions is staggering."
"How was I supposed to know that Tyler's mother was still alive?" Wednesday argued.
"You weren't! That's the whole point. Your arsonist-slash-firefighter complex is right there in black and white. You unleash chaos just so you can stamp it out and then feel superior." Enid criticized.
(Y/n) tried to step between them. "Guys, please, don't—."
"Stay out of this, (Y/n)." Enid told her. "I don't know how you can defend him right now. He's put you in danger more times than I can count and you still go rushing back to him! Stop being such a...a...Normie!" She lashed out.
Wednesday pushed (Y/n) behind him and glared at Enid. "Don't talk to her like that." He snapped. "You think you're powerful now because you finally wolfed out?"
"You have no idea what I'm capable of." Enid muttered.
"Now who sounds arrogant?"
"Have you ever put yourself in someone else's shoes to see how they felt?" Enid asked him.
"My shoes are filled with broken glass and razor blades." He told her. "You'd bleed out after two steps."
Enid huffed and stormed out of his room, slamming the door behind her.
Wednesday turned to (Y/n), holding up a flashlight. "Are you coming?"
