Gomez peered up from the trap door and looked around at the aftermath of the explosion. Pugsley opened his eyes and saw Wednesday and Morticia on the ground, Morticia lying underneath one of the parts of the machine that fell on top of her.

"Tish!" Gomez exclaimed.

Wednesday gasped and opened his eyes, and looked around, seeing Gomez and Pugsley rushing towards his mother.

"Help me. Help me with this." Gomez insisted.

The three of them moved the machine part off of her, and looked down at her with bated breath.

Morticia suddenly opened her eyes and looked at Wednesday. "I guess your premonition didn't come true after all."

Gomez and Wednesday helped her up, and the family finally felt at ease, until Wednesday remembered something.

"(Y/n)...where's (Y/n)?" He asked.

Wednesday began looking around, until he spotted something on the floor above. He noticed (Y/n)'s limp hand hanging over the grated floor.

"(Y/n)!" He exclaimed.

Wednesday started to rush towards the staircase, but was stopped by Isaac who used his ability to start to choke Wednesday.

"Because of you...I lost the only person I ever truly loved." He spat.

"Isaac! Isaac!" Gomez pleaded. "It's over. Let my son go."

Isaac shook his head as Wednesday collapsed to his knees. "Sorry, old friend. Now you two will know what real pain feels like."

Morticia started coming towards Wednesday, but Isaac shouted at her. "One more step and I snap his neck!"

Seeing the danger her son was in, Morticia turned to the only person who could help at this point.

"Thing, we know you're still in there."

"Come back to us, Thing. We love you." Gomez insisted. "We're your family!"

Isaac gestured to his hand. "This was never part of your family. It's a part of me!"

Morticia noticed the discarded axe by her foot and kicked it over to Wednesday. He grabbed it and through it at Isaac, making him lose concentration, and released him as the axe flew past him and impaled the wall.

"You missed!" Isaac reached his hand out to continue killing Wednesday, but his ability suddenly seemed to not be working.

"Come on, Thing..."

Isaac's hand began to shake and twitch, before forming a fist.

"What is happening?" Isaac wondered aloud.

His hand suddenly flipped him off, before poking him in the eye.

Isaac yelped and stumbled back as Thing grabbed him by the hair and slammed him against the wall. Isaac grabbed his wrist and tried to push it away, but Thing made a fist and began punching Isaac several times.

Isaac fell back, using his left hand to keep Thing from attacking him, but Thing was stronger. He ripped Isaac's shirt aside, exposing his clockwork heart, and reached towards it, ripping it out of Isaac's chest.

Wednesday smirked. "Time's up..."

Isaac stared blankly at his own heart in Thing's hand, and collapsed to the ground, staying dead this time.

The Addams watched as Thing slowly pulled himself up, crawling back towards his family. As he crawled towards them, he ripped out the stitches that bound him to Isaac's arm, free of him for good.

"Welcome back, Thing." Wednesday said.

As Thing crawled towards his parents, Wednesday rushed up the spiral stairs to the upper floor and found (Y/n) unconscious on the floor.

"No..." Wednesday whispered. "No, no, no, no, no..."

He knelt beside her and placed one hand under her head and the other under her back and lifted her to his chest, caressing her face.

"(Y/n)? (Y/n), wake up!" He exclaimed. "Don't leave me...please..."

She still didn't move, and Wednesday began to give up hope, when two hands grabbed his face and pulled him into a kiss.

When the person pulled back, Wednesday saw (Y/n) staring up at him, a small smile on her face. Her dress was ripped on the bottom, one of the sleeves being ripped off completely, and she had some cuts and bruises on her body, but she was alive.

"Hello, mon Cher." She greeted.

Wednesday chuckled with relief. "Cara Mia."

He bent down and kissed her passionately, pulling her as close to him as he could.

"I thought I lost you." He whispered between kisses.

"I'm here." She reassured him, caressing his face.

...

Wednesday helped (Y/n) down the stairs, careful not to irritate her injuries and approached his family.

(Y/n) stared at them with slight guilt in her face. "I'm sorry...I...I never meant to hurt you all. Isaac, he-he made me...I couldn't fight back..." she apologized.

"(Y/n)..." Morticia began. "You buried my son alive, helped kidnap Pugsley, and joined forces with an evil genius to destroy our family."

(Y/n) hung her head.

"I knew I liked you for a reason." She finished with a smile.

Gomez came forward and pulled her into a tight hug. "You will make a wonderful daughter-in-law!"

"What's it like being a vicious killer?" Pugsley asked with extreme intrigue.

Wednesday glared at his brother, and pulled (Y/n) away from his father, holding her close to him.

"Are you alright, my love? Your master is dead, are you in pain?" He asked with concern.

(Y/n) shook her head. "No, I...I'm okay. I feel great, actually...I...don't feel it..." she said slowly.

"Feel what?"

"The Hyde. I don't...sense it anymore. It's like...it's like it disappeared." She clarified.

"The blast from the lightening must have been strong enough to activate Isaac's machine." Wednesday realized. "It must have removed your Hyde."

"Awwww." Pugsley whined, disappointed. "Lame."

Wednesday gave him another cold stare, and slipped his hand around (Y/n)'s waist, holding her in his arms as she leaned her head against his chest.

At last, they could all breathe a sigh of relief, knowing it was finally over.
