Wednesday sat at a small desk outside his black tent, studying a map.
"Galpin's cabin's approximately two and a half miles east from the camp. Be on alert for our black-winged tormentor's return." He warned Thing. "If we leave now, we can be back before anyone realizes we've gone."
Wednesday stood up and began walking towards the woods, but was intercepted by Principal Dort.
"Joining the campfire festivities this evening, Mr. Addams?"
"I usually enjoy cruel and unusual punishment, but not tonight." Wednesday denied.
"Most people would have FOMO. '
Fear Of Missing Out." Principal Dort commented.
"I have FOBI. Fear Of Being Included."
"Well, I just wanted to say thank you. For standing up to those Normies. For someone who professes to be anti-social, you accomplished in one afternoon what a thousand trust exercises never could. So thank you."
Wednesday didn't reply and just walked by him, continuing on his mission.
...
"I've got one word for your performance today. Pathetic!" The Cadet leader shouted.
"Sir, yes, sir!"
He stood tall, looking at his troops, giving them his 'notes' about their actions during the challenge against the Outcasts.
"You got outplayed by a moody teenage Outcast, and his companion! A female, no less. How does that make you feel?" He asked his troops.
None of them responded.
"The correct answer is worthless!"
"Thank you for your valuable feed back, sir!"
"You've been crushed...humiliated in battle. But a Phoenix always rises in defeat! Tonight, we recapture Camp Jericho!"
"Sir, yes, sir!"
...
While everyone was at the campfire, enjoying s'mores and singing songs, Wednesday navigated his way through the forest, a flashlight in hand.
He paused when he noticed something in the distance. He pulled out the photo of the cabin and held it up to the house he found. They were the same. He found the cabin.
He wasted no time in picking the lock to the front door, and walking in. He looked around at all the rustic furniture and guns and bullets that were hung up on the walls.
He walked over to a mirror and noticed several pictures of Galpin and some of him and Tyler taped to the edges of the frame. As he looked, he noticed something that looked like a newspaper clipping poking out from behind the frame.
"Every mirror has a dark side."
Wednesday pulled the mirror back to reveal several newspaper articles and clipping connected to the back of it. Some papers had images of people alignment their names and date of birth to death.
